Our youngest lab member, Muhammad Hakimi bin Hanafi presented his research at THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF SPORTS AND EXERCISE SCIENCE STUDENTS 2023 (ICSESS 2023), organised by Universiti Malaya.
This is a collaborative research with our Japan industrial partner, Dream GP.

PILOT STUDY COMPLETED!
Yesterday we have completed our initial data collection for our NETBALL SHOES STUDY. Thanks a lot to all the participants that helped us in this study. And a big THANK YOU!! to Nike and Nike Sport Research Lab for sponsoring the footwear used in this study.
Our research proposal was accepted by NIKE and they kindly have sponsored footwear worth more than MYR 10,000 for this study!
This research is a joint collaboration between Universiti Teknologi MARA (Malaysia), St Mary's University (United Kingdom), Fukuoka University (Japan), German Sport University Cologne (Germany) and Aalborg University (Denmark).

Our latest publication in Q1 Journal: Sports Biomechanics. We found that futsal playing surface characteristics significantly affect perceived traction and change of direction performance among experienced players.
