Orton-Gillingham 是一套经过科学验证的阅读教学方法。它是一套循序渐进、递增性、累积性、透过有系统和多感官的策略及活动、以音标为基础、增强学生的阅读、串字和写作能力的教学法。

多数人都很幸运的学会读写，但有一小部分的孩子在学习上遇到困难。若您的孩子在英文拼写和阅读方面遇到问题，特别是如果他们在传统的语音教学中遇到困难，那么这一套教学法可以在他们现有的教育基础上做一个很好的补充和帮助。

Orton-Gillingham is a scientifically proven approach to teach reading. It is based on direct, systematic, sequential and multi-sensory instruction.

If your child needs a caring and engaging teacher to provide more help with spelling, learning sight words or reading, particularly if they've struggled with traditional phonics instructio, this course would be a beneficial addition to their education!

~马来文主题式教学~

在主题式教学中，老师提供一个良好的学习情境，让学生在具有高度动机的环境中，接触和这主题相关的学习内容。

这两个月进行的马来文主题式教学，老师选择了1）马来西亚传统美食 2）马来西亚昆虫，作为主题。以孩子有兴趣的主题来学习，对学生而言颇为新鲜有趣，这有助于提高学生学习马来文的动力。

教学进行中，学生除了需要完成老师设计的学习单，也需根据所抽取到的任务卡，分工合作，亲手制作香喷喷的nasi lemak，并制作了小食谱，把制作步骤画和写下来。

马来西亚有很多出色的本土绘本，Kisah Si Rama-Rama是其中一本。学生们阅读了绘本之后，老师指导中年段的学生写了一篇“Aku seekor rama-rama（我是一只蝴蝶）”的自叙文 (karangan jenis autobiografi)；而低年级的学生则制作了一本Kitaran Hidup Rama-Rama的小小书。

【陪伴孩子学习第二种语文】

#每个孩子都有语言天赋
#陪伴和帮助孩子学好第二语言

语言学家提出，人类学习语言有一个关键期（Critical Period Hypothesis) ，而这个关键期正是在3岁至小学时期。

语言学习关键期，只有对母语学习有效。学习第二、第三种语文，任何年龄都可以学，没有时间上的限制。

若孩子在传统的听、说、读、写语文学习方式中得不到改善，那么,家长可以考虑，换个方式让孩子学习。

若经济许可，帮孩子找几个学伴，找到三至五位小朋友和自己的孩子一起学习。家长们可以合聘一位懂得双语的老师。一开始以双语开始教学，让孩子有个适应期，没那么大的压力。观察孩子的学习状况，再慢慢地以全外语教学。补习班首重阅读，指导孩子阅读马来文/英文故事、文章。

若经济不允许，也没关系。可与孩子在每天或每周固定的时间，亲子一起共读有趣的外语绘本，一起听有声马来文或英文故事书，和孩子一起学。有时还可以让孩子充当外语小老师，也让孩子大声朗读故事，让他们听到自己的发音和节奏，增进孩子对语文的敏感度， 培养他们的“外语耳朵”。如此一来，更能激发他们学习外语的动力呢。

🌻【2022 Intake For Chinese/ Malay Learning Class- For Chinese/ Malay As Second Language Learner】 🌻






Dear parents, I am Teacher Mary. I will start a Chinese and Malay tuition class at my home (Setia Permai 1, Setia Alam) in January 2022.

Allow me to tell a little about my history. . . I had 8 years of tutoring experience in the past, and I stopped for nearly 10 years because of my full-time job and accompanying my children. Although I stopped teaching for many years, I have never stopped learning because of my passion in education. I have been joining classes with local and foreign teachers and education experts to ensure that I always keep up with the various innovative teaching methods and the latest education system.

Learning foreign language has never been an easy task. Our Chinese primary school children need to learn three languages simultaneously. Furthermore, Chinese language is one of the most difficult languages to learn as a second language. Often seen is a negative effect when learning Chinese; students lose interest to learn quickly without making a concerted effort to practice speaking and writing Chinese. Many times, our children are not very interested in learning other languages. They just participate passively in the learning process. Some of them are struggling in the school in fact.

For languages that are not native languages, it is difficult for parents to create a natural learning environment for the children to learn a language naturally. It's even harder to reach the realm of what the experts say-the internalization of language.

For me, the ideal way to learn language is to learn together. When students work together in groups toward common goals of learning they can provide encouragement to each other to keep motivated toward the goals. It can be a positive and enjoyable experience. Joining a study group and studying in a group environment makes learning much more fulfilling and enjoyable.

Therefore, I have formed a Chinese/ Malay Learning Class for the Chinese/ Malay as second language learner, at my home in Setia Permai 1.

This is a student-centered classroom. I encourage students to take a more "active" role in the education experience. The interests of the students' take center stage and I give students choice and voice, finding ways to provide learning experiences that focus on what students value. I emphasize on reading. Reading more and widely is a critical component of developing their Chinese speaking and writing abilities. I do not emphasize on grammatical knowledge.

各位爸爸妈妈好，我是Mary老师。我将在2022年1月在我家 (SETIA ALAM), 开办华文和国文学习班。

允许我述说一点关于我的历史。。。我过去有8年的补习经验，中间因为正职和陪伴孩子而停了将近10年。虽然停止教学多年，但是因为对教育的喜爱，所以这些年没停止过学习。我一直有在上着国内外老师和教育专家们的课，以让自己对各种创新教学法和最新的教育制度保持敏感。

学语文从来就不是一件容易的事，更何况华小的孩子需要学习三种语文。很多时候，我们的孩子对学习语文没有很大的兴趣，只是被动地参与学习过程，处于被灌输的状态。

对于不是母语的语言，我们很难创造自然的学习环境。更难达到专家说的--语言的内化这种境界。

对我来说，学语文最理想的方式是采行共学。共学的好处大于独自学习，孩子们在一起学习，很容易创造良好的学习氛围。

因此，我打算开办家庭学习班，在此招收学生，跟我家孩子一起学习。

我的语文学习班 以学生自主学习为中心，鼓励学生积极参与课堂教学，并以阅读为核心，不强灌文法知识。
