Postgraduate Briefing Day 2026, organised by the Graduate Students’ Club (GSC), Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, was successfully held on 12th May 2026. The session provided postgraduate students with essential information on course structure, academic journey, and key updates to support their studies. The programme also included ice-breaking activities to encourage interaction and help students connect with one another. We hope everyone enjoyed the session and wish all students a fulfilling and memorable journey at UPM✨

A glimpse into the 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition held at the faculty level by the Graduate Students Club (GSC), Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences on 10 April 2026 🎤✨

Bringing together both PhD and Master’s students, it was inspiring to see complex research transformed into engaging 3-minute presentations—proof that great science can also tell a powerful story.

Congratulations to all the winners and participants for your courage, creativity, and dedication 👏 Wishing you all continued growth, valuable experiences, and meaningful knowledge as you progress in your academic journeys.

The Graduate Students Club is honored to be part of the organizing team for the 2024/2025 Hooding Ceremony of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, held on 27 November 2025 to celebrate our PhD graduates. The event brought together supervisors and family members in recognition of the students’ achievements. It was a meaningful moment to witness years of dedication, perseverance, and hard work culminate in this milestone. We are grateful for the opportunity to support and celebrate our postgraduate community, and we look forward to continuing our commitment to uplifting and empowering our students.

🎓✨ Kicked off the new academic year in style! Postgraduate Orientation Day - Semester 1 2025/2026

The Graduate Student Club (GSC) of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS) successfully hosted the Postgraduate Orientation for Semester 1, 2025/2026 on 6th November. The programme commenced with a welcome address by Professor Ts. Dr Cheah Yoke Kqueen, Deputy Dean (Graduate and Industry & Community Relations) FMHS, followed by an informative briefing by Assoc. Prof. Dr Sandra Maniam, the Postgraduate Coordinator of FMHS.

The orientation included structured activities designed to facilitate networking and foster a sense of community among postgraduate students, marking the start of a promising academic journey.
