The lantern parade and candle lighting ceremony is a beautiful and symbolic activity during the Mid-Autumn Festival. Parrents and children, carry their colorful lanterns/ candles while walking in a procession, through the streets. The lanterns, illuminated by candles, symbolize hope, light, and the reunion of families.
As the candles are lit, the soft glow of the lanterns creates a magical atmosphere, bringing everyone together in a shared moment of celebration and reflection. This tradition not only adds to the festive spirit but also deepens the connection to the cultural significance of the Mid-Autumn Festival.
灯笼游行和点灯仪式是中秋节期间一项美丽且充满象征意义的活动。家长和孩子们手持色彩斑斓的灯笼或蜡烛，在街道上排成队伍前行。点亮的灯笼象征着希望、光明以及家庭的团聚。

The "Hou Yi Shoots the Suns" game is inspired by the ancient Chinese legend of the hero Hou Yi, who shot down nine of the ten suns. This game is centered around archery, where children play the role of Hou Yi, using safe toy bows and arrows to aim at sun targets on the wall. Through this activity, children can improve their hand-eye coordination and focus while also learning about traditional cultural stories and developing an interest in Chinese mythology.
This fun and educational activity adds more interactivity and cultural atmosphere to the Mid-Autumn Festival, allowing children to experience the charm of traditional festivals through laughter and play.

Game 1 - Pitch-pot (投壶, "tóuhú") is a traditional Chinese game that dates back to ancient times, where participants attempt to throw arrows or sticks into a pot from a distance. The game was often played during festivals and gatherings, combining fun with a test of precision and skill. It was also seen as a way to promote etiquette and mindfulness.
Game 2 - "Shake Your Wish" (求签) is a traditional Chinese fortune-telling practice . Participants shake a container filled with numbered bamboo sticks (called "qiān") until one falls out. Each stick corresponds to a specific fortune or message, which is then interpreted to provide guidance or insight into the person's life or future.
