Day 1️⃣ of upgrading your essay using idioms in English Paper 2.

🔴 Avoid: "He has repented and is going to start a new life."
🟢 Use: "He has repented and is turning over a new leaf."

If in English we have "Turn over a new leaf", then in Malay we have "Membuka lembaran baharu"

✍️Try writing your sentence using the idiom mentioned in the comment below!

1️⃣ Harmful 👉🏻 causing damage to someone or something ESPECIALLY to their health or the environment.

Eating candy is bad for your health ❌
Eating candy is harmful for your health ✅

2️⃣ Detrimental 👉🏻 has similar meaning as “harmful”, degrades or reduce your physical health

A lack of sleep is bad for your health ❌
A lack of sleep is detrimental to your health ✅

📝 Try and build a sentence using either words OR
