👉 It is the starting point of all economic activity.

In simple terms, the primary sector extracts natural resources from the land or sea.

Without the primary sector, there would be no factories to manufacture goods and no shops to sell products!

It is the foundation of the entire production chain 💡

When a purchase ledger shows a debit balance, it means something unusual happened:
✅ We OVERPAID a supplier
✅ We RETURNED goods more than we owe

Our Year 9 students just turned the classroom into a mini science lab! 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬

Today’s big question: Which side of a leaf loses the most water? 🍃💧

Using eight similar leaves, petroleum jelly, paper clips, a “washing line”, and a sensitive balance, students designed a real experiment to investigate water loss (transpiration). Each leaf was treated differently — some surfaces were coated, some were not — and then hung up to dry.

As the leaves lost water, they lost mass… and our students carefully measured every change! 📊

Through this hands-on experiment, they didn’t just learn science — they experienced it.
They learned how to:
✅ Control variables
✅ Record accurate data
✅ Compare results
✅ Think like real scientists
