Satu sesi perkongsian ilmu antara Ts. Hafeezur Rahmaan bin Mohd Yassin Pensyarah Bahagian Reka Bentuk PP Seni dengan Pensyarah Computer Aided Design (CAD) BRTech telah berlangsung sebagai satu persediaan pembangunan kursus bagi Semakan Kurikulum Program Ijazah Sarjana Muda Teknologi Biosumber dengan Kepujian.

KNOWLEDGE SHARING SESSION: USE OF SOFTWARE IN COMPUTER AIDED PRODUCT DESIGN COURSE

A knowledge sharing session between Ts. Hafeezur Rahmaan bin Mohd Yassin, Lecturer in the Design Division from School of The Arts, and the Computer Aided Design (CAD) Lecturers of Bioresource Technology was held as a preparation for Bachelor of Bioresource Technology with Honours Curriculum Review.

Taking part in the Aerospace Composite Challenge 2025 at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) was an enriching and memorable journey. Our project, "Binding Green with Strength: Synergizing Lignosulfonate and Nanocellulose for Enhanced Biopolymer Performance," focused on advancing sustainable aerospace composite technologies. This esteemed competition, organized in conjunction with MyAero Northern Talent 2025, provided a vibrant stage for students from universities and institutions to showcase innovative research and forward-thinking solutions. A highlight of the experience was our visit to Boeing Composite Malaysia, where we gained valuable insights into the intricate processes involved in manufacturing aircraft components, deepening our appreciation for the industry's technical excellence and precision.

Our student, Cho Kai Ning from Bioresource Technology (UG Year 3) just won bronze award at Grand Finale 3-Minute Pitch on Invention & Innovation Competition in Karnival Kimia Malaysia Zon Utara 2025 under Higher Education category organized by Institut Kimia Malaysia dan Perbadanan Perpustakaan Awam Pulau Pinang. Before this, the student was shortlisted as top five contestants at preliminary round and allowed her to step into final stage that was held today at Penang State Library.

Gold award at The International Research and Innovation Symposium Competition 2025 organized by Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia goes to one of research teams in BRTech.

The team developed a standardized active ingredient with enhanced antioxidants from agricultural waste. This ingredient is uniquely designed with nanotechnology in the form of microcapsule to ensure efficient delivery.
