DAY 4 | TÜV/IICS 1.6 Certified CHB Refractory Practitioner (Industrial & Energy Applications)

Day 4 focused on Inspection & Industry Application, providing participants with practical insights into refractory inspection principles and their application in real industrial environments.

The sessions highlighted inspection techniques, assessment methods, and industry best practices to help participants better evaluate refractory systems and support reliable plant operations.

Another productive day of technical learning, knowledge sharing, and professional networking as participants continue to strengthen their expertise in refractory engineering.

Day 3 focused on the manufacturing and installation of refractory systems, covering the manufacturing process of refractories, refractory anchoring systems, and refractory design to strengthen participants' technical understanding.

The sessions continued with refractory installation techniques, online repair methods, and overcasting of linings, providing practical insights into industry best practices and applications.

Another productive day of technical learning, knowledge sharing, and professional networking as participants continue to build their expertise in refractory engineering.

🌍 Meet Our Speaker #17 | Lutz Seibt 🇩🇪

We're honoured to welcome Lutz Seibt, Inspector for Periodical Inspection & Certification of Pressure Vessels, Steam Boilers, Piping Systems, and More, as the seventeenth speaker in our IDC Global Asset Integrity & Inspection Summit (GAIIS) 2026 Speaker Series.

• Mechanical Repair of Pressure Equipment (Practical Code Application) (ASME PCC-2)

Lutz Seibt brings more than 30 years of international hands-on experience as an Authorised Inspector, Auditor, Trainer, and Lecturer in pressure vessels, steam boilers, piping systems, storage tanks, and pressure equipment. His expertise spans German, European, and American pressure equipment codes and standards, with extensive experience supporting industries throughout Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.

During GAIIS 2026, Lutz will deliver two technical presentations. The first explores the complete life-cycle management of pressure equipment, from design and commissioning through inspection, maintenance, repair, and retirement in accordance with API 510 and API 570. His second presentation focuses on the practical application of ASME PCC-2, providing delegates with real-world guidance on mechanical repair methods, code compliance, and proven industry practices for maintaining the integrity of pressure equipment.
