Treasure hunt?
Nono, It’s an Onside Learning 🍅🥒
They were surveying the vegetable prices!

They noticed the "prices",
tried "weighing", and began asking, “Why is this one more expensive?”

They started to observe and think, not just follow along.

Somehow, vegetables are no longer just something we buy, but something they now understand and appreciate.

他们开始观察、思考，不再只是跟着走。

Today was a big harvest! 🌱
The children were involved every step of the way — from planting seedlings, fertilising, watching them grow day by day, to harvesting, cooking, and finally enjoying the fruits of their own effort!

The red, yellow, and green of a traffic light were never meant to stay in textbooks.

So this time, we brought the street into our school— a miniature traffic town with zebra crossings to pause at, roundabouts to navigate, and signages brought to life as children stepped into roles like drivers, pedestrians, even little officers.

And then, the real police officers arrived. The children paused, wide-eyed, curious, with a touch of nervous excitement- “Is this real?”

Even more meaningful, the officers shared that this was their very first time stepping into a preschool for a live, on-site session. And we, WonderBunch is the first and only one!

It wasn’t easy to bring this to life, but every moment was worth it, watching learning light up on their faces. Because we believe, learning isn’t just told, it is experienced.

Food doesn’t come easy, and this month, the children got to see that for themselves. 🌱

Over the past few weeks, they explored different planting methods, from soil planting to hydroponic planting. Step by step, they were exposed to the entire process of building our hydroponic system, from studying the design plan, assembling the metal rack and water pipes, fastening the first screw, all the way to planting the seedlings into the system.

从设计图，到第一颗螺丝，铁架，水管，到最后种下小苗，每一个环节孩子们都参与其中。

At WonderBunch, we believe in experiential learning. When children see, touch, build and experience things themselves, learning becomes deeper, more meaningful, and far more memorable than what a textbook alone can offer. ❤️

Every single day, we step onto escalators without thinking. But for a preschooler, that first step can feel huge. 👣

In this video, watch our little ones learn how to ride safely—holding a hand, standing still, and watching those tiny toes. It’s simple stuff, but it stays with them for life.

There’s something about seeing a child concentrate so hard on something so ordinary. It reminds you how much we take for granted. And how carefully we need to guide them through it.

No big words. No scare tactics. Just small habits that keep them safe. Because whether it’s a mall or a train station, every ride matters when it’s their first. ❤️

Some moments gently remind us why we do what we do.

A 5-year-old child who has been with us for less than a month had to leave early to return to China with his mum for the New Year. He will be back after the holidays, but on the way to the airport, he couldn’t hold back his tears and asked his mum repeatedly when they would return.
In such a short time, WonderBunch had already become a place of comfort and connection for him.

Moments like this are the greatest affirmation for our teachers — that their care, patience, and love are truly felt by the children.
And that makes every effort worthwhile. 💛

有些瞬间，会轻轻提醒我们，为什么要做这件事。
一位 5 岁的小朋友来 WonderBunch 还不到一个月，因为要陪妈妈回中国过年而提前离校。新年后会再回来，但在去机场的路上，他还是忍不住哭了，还一再问妈妈什么时候才能再回来。
短短的时间里，WonderBunch 已经成了他心里有安全感、有依恋的地方。
这样的时刻，是对老师们最大的肯定——孩子真的感受到了被用心对待。
一切的付出，都值得了 💛

Education isn’t only about reading books or sitting in a classroom.
Real learning happens when children see, touch, question, and experience the world around them.

Today, our children explored something unexpected — a type of cockroach that feeds mainly on fruits and is completely different from the ones we usually associate with dirt and bacteria. Under Teacher Ben’s guidance, they learned that not everything is what it first appears to be.

Through moments like these, children learn to:
• Observe before judging
• Ask questions instead of fearing
• Understand nature from different perspectives

This is experiential learning — where curiosity leads, and understanding grows naturally.

At WonderBunch, we believe learning should expand a child’s view of the world, not limit it to textbooks alone 🌱
