Our 1-2 year olds are in the same class. Look at how the little ones will watch what the Abang & Kakak are doing. This is called 'peer teaching'. This is why we have a small class / ratio settings. This way all the children will get a chance to do the activities and learn from each other.

It is not easy to teach the children how to share or take turns but when they see others do it, they will copy, conform & adapt to the settings. This will also give carers a chance to concentrate on children who need extra attention. 😍😍😍

The world is our classroom. Our themes are not constricted to indoor- classroom learning only. We bring the children out so they can explore and relate their learning to the outside world as well. Most importantly, it gives them so much joy being outdoor once in a while, THAT is how learning should be. 💖💖💖

Our baby to carer ratio is 1:3. We have always maintained this ratio to make sure the children's needs are met. Their health and safety comes first but we also make sure each child gets the amount of social and emotional attention that they need.

We only take in SIX babies maximum so that they have their space to grow; rolling, tumbling, crawling and eventually walking. Now that we are in the pandemic era, it becomes paramount to us to not overcrowd the area.

We have a few more slots left for those of you who are interested. If not now, you'll have to wait for a baby to start walking before the slot will be vacant 😁😁 Do contact us should you be interested to know more. 🤗

At Watch Us Grow we make sure our carer is a loving and nurturing person not only to the children but also the parents! We are proud to say that our parent - carer partnership are close knit and we have managed to guide and help parents with BOTTLE TRAINING, POTTY TRAINING, SLEEPING IN COT training or any kind of training that parents are concerned about.

We also carry out simulating activities such as SENSORY PLAY, ARTS & CRAFTS, CIRCLE TIME, OUTDOOR PLAY, COOKING and etc, planned for the children on a daily basis. This will encourage the children to develop creatively and independently.

Alhamdulillah all our carers are vaccinated and will be getting our second dose soon! We are doing this for you kiddos 😁 Making sure we do not get infected in order to protect you from it, insha'Allah. May Allah keep protecting us from this virus and lets us get back to some sort of normal. 🤲 For now, stay home and stay safe! ❤️

What's with a logo you ask?

A logo is the start of everything in a branding. One of our struggles with the start of 'Watch Us Grow' was to find THE name and THE logo. We went back and forth the drawing board to make sure our logo represent our goals for this centre. (Ended up with a designer to design it).

As you can see, the word 'Watch Us Grow' is written in a form of a caterpillar and ends with a butterfly. That is how we see the children at 'Watch Us Grow', they come to us from a tiny caterpillar waiting to spread their wings and fly to the outside world. We help them grow into a beautiful child and ready to step into preschool.

Everyday when we look at the LOGO it will remind us of our very own intention of starting the centre. We are very particular of how we run the centre and that is why we had to go back and forth and 'bug' the designer for the PERFECT logo!

Parent-teacher partnership is vital at this day and age. We are in an era where children has one too many questions! As parents we need to gain knowledge and know the latest development. This could be of a new nursery rhyme or even latest cartoon show. Children can get easily annoyed when their curiosity isn't being fulfilled. Being a parent is a constant learning process and no one parent is better than the other. We are all in this together!! 💪💪 Therefore, two way communication is important to achieve children's highest potential.

At Watch Us Grow, we take our parent partnership one level up 😉 As we share our skills on caring and loving a child, the parents also share the personal SKILLS that they acquire. It could either be about DIY, cooking healthy meals or even the ways to binge K-drama (skills!!). 😁

In order to GROW and develop healthily we believe that mutual and loving bond should be achieved! This can only be done with understanding each other's needs. (Most of the time we are always in need of DIY jobs and soooooooo thankful for parents who willingly fill in that missing pieces in our centre). Alhamdulillah. Thank you Dear parents ❤️ May we keep on GROWING together! 🤗
