我感到一种陌生的力量在发酵，

📚 What Does “Inner Preparation” Mean for a Teacher?

Before teaching, a teacher’s preparation is more than knowing the curriculum or planning lessons. It also involves an inner preparation—understanding the child and preparing oneself as a teacher.

First, we need to understand the child.
Teachers need to be aware of children’s physical, emotional, and developmental needs at each stage. The more we understand how children develop, the better we can understand the reasons behind their behaviour and offer support that is truly appropriate for them.

The second aspect is preparing ourselves as teachers.
Knowing the subject matter is important, but we also need to ask ourselves: Why am I teaching this? What meaning does it have for the child? How does it connect with my own life experience?

A teacher’s own interests, thoughts, and life experiences can become a true source of inspiration for teaching. We can certainly learn from other teachers’ lesson plans and examples, but these should support—not replace—our own thinking.

Children are very perceptive. They can sense whether a teacher is genuinely interested in what they are teaching. When we have no real connection with the subject, children can easily lose interest too.

This is what we mean by “inner preparation.” It is not simply knowing what to teach, but seeking the deeper meaning and essence behind it.

Whether it is a chemistry experiment, a historical event, a poem, or something seemingly ordinary, when we discover its connection with the child and with life, it can become meaningful, engaging, and full of life.

当亲手完成的秋叶握在手中，孩子们带着自己的心意，慢慢走进螺旋。
一步一步，安静地走向中心。
轻轻搅动玻璃碟里的清水，看着水面泛起细细的涟漪……
然后，把自己的秋叶与愿望，轻轻放下。

也许每个孩子心里的愿望都不一样。
有的简单，有的可爱，有的还说不清楚……

但在这一刻，他们有机会安静下来，听听自己的心，也为新的学习旅程许下一个小小的愿望 🌱
愿这一份小小的心愿，随着秋叶留在记忆里，
也随着孩子的成长，慢慢发芽......

🍂 One by one, little autumn leaves slowly come to life in the kids' hands...

During our Autumn & Winter Intake Ceremony, we set aside a quiet moment for the children to get creative with their hands.

Bit by bit, they crafted an autumn leaf that was completely their own.
Some observed every detail, some stayed completely focused, and others took their time tweaking their creations.

A single leaf might look simple, but inside it holds so much focus, patience, and love from each child.

As the leaves were finished, the warm colours of autumn quietly found their way into their hands. 🍁

🌿 Every little handmade piece is something special, truly worth keeping forever.

In secret to encompass now
