🎨 两个周六的成果 —— 手作时钟 🕰️✨

孩子们先认识时钟的基本结构：
✔ 时针
✔ 分针
✔ 数字位置

接着，再亲手用粘土慢慢制作：
🔢 数字 1–12
🌸 亲自设计的小装饰

揉、捏、贴、摆，
一点一点完成属于自己的小细节 💛

最后再进行：
🎨 上色与细节修饰
🔧 固定数字位置
⏰ 安装时钟机芯

在创作的过程中，
孩子们练习手部精细动作、专注力，
也慢慢建立空间与数字概念。

经过两个星期的努力，
每个人都完成了独一无二的手作时钟 ✨

🎨 The result of two Saturdays — Handmade Clocks 🕰️✨

The children first learned about the basic parts of a clock:
✔ Hour hand
✔ Minute hand
✔ Number placement

Then, they slowly created their own pieces using clay:
🔢 Numbers 1–12
🌸 Their own handmade decorations

Rolling, shaping, sticking, and arranging —
carefully completing every little detail 💛

Finally, they moved on to:
🎨 Painting and adding finishing touches
🔧 Fixing the numbers in place
⏰ Installing the clock mechanism

The children practiced fine motor skills and focus,
while also building spatial awareness and number concepts.

After two weeks of effort,
they completed their own one-of-a-kind handmade clock ✨

随着母亲节的到来，
这期手工班的孩子们也亲手准备送给妈妈的小心意 💝

孩子们制作了拼豆杯垫和钥匙扣，
一颗一颗慢慢拼，认真配色、专心摆放 ✨

在训练专注力与精细动作的同时，
也让孩子们学习感恩妈妈平日里的付出 ❤️

愿每天都被爱与温柔包围 🌷

As Mother’s Day approaches,
the children in this term’s craft class prepared little handmade gifts for their moms 💝

They created perler bead coasters and keychains,
carefully placing each bead one by one while focusing on colors and patterns ✨

Besides improving concentration and fine motor skills, the activity also reminded the children to appreciate all the love and care from their mothers ❤️

今天我们利用血蚶贝壳、粘土和彩色装饰，
搓一搓、贴一贴、摆一摆，
小手虽然忙忙乱乱，
但还是认真又专注地完成送给妈妈的礼物 ❤️

As Mother’s Day is approaching,
the children at our after-school care prepared little handmade gifts for their moms 💝

Using cockle shells, clay, and colorful decorations, they rolled, stuck, arranged, and decorated with care 🌸
Tiny hands may get a little messy,
but everyone stayed focused and worked hard to complete their special gifts with love ❤️

the children created their own version of the Earth.

Along the way, we talked about:

这个星期的手工班 —— 刺绣初体验 🪡🧵

小朋友们第一次尝试刺绣，
一针一线慢慢缝。

先在纸卡上练习 ——
握针、控制拉线、穿孔，
学习从哪一面入针、哪一面出针。
掌握了基本方法后，
再换到布上继续练习。

有小朋友笑说：
“这是老奶奶的活。” 😅

但做着做着，
大家却越来越投入，
很享受这个过程，
也专注地完成自己的作品。

练习小作品完成啦！
下星期就要开始新的刺绣作品，
敬请期待 ✨

This week's craft class -- First Embroidery Experience 🪡🧵

It was the children's first time trying embroidery, starting slowly, one stitch at a time.

They first practiced on cardstock --
learning how to hold the needle, control the thread, and stitch through the holes,
understanding where the needle goes in
and where it comes out.

Once they got the hang of it,
they moved on to practicing on fabric.

One child laughed and said,
“This is grandma’s work!” 😅

But as they continued,
they became more and more engaged,
enjoying the process
and focusing on completing their own pieces.

Practice pieces done!
Next week, we’ll begin a new embroidery project.
