🍄🌱 这个星期的手工班，有泥土、有蘑菇，也有一双双认真创作的小手。

孩子们亲手翻土、种下属于自己的小盆栽，再利用蛋托制作一朵朵可爱的蘑菇，把想象中的小花园一点一点完成。🍄

有人专心把泥土铺平，有人细细摆放每一朵蘑菇，也有人反覆调整花盆里的每个小角落。

在专注创作的过程中，
专注力、耐心、手部精细动作，以及珍惜资源的观念，也悄悄地一起成长。💛

🍄🌱 This week's craft class was filled with soil, little mushrooms, and busy little hands.

The children planted their own little potted plants, then transformed recycled egg cartons into tiny mushrooms to create their very own miniature garden. 🍄

Some carefully levelled the soil, some thoughtfully placed each mushroom, some took time arranging every little corner of their pots.

As they became absorbed in creating, their focus, patience, fine motor skills, and appreciation for caring for our world quietly grew alongside their little gardens. 💛

🖍️「随堂测验」

早前，老师和孩子们一起完成了黑板上的新图画，每个人都参与添上一笔属于自己的小涂鸦，让整幅画变得越来越丰富。

昨天，我们就利用这幅画玩起了数数游戏：
🐦 有几只小鸟？
🍄 有几个蘑菇？
🌸 有几朵花？

最后，老师送上终极挑战：
「图画里一共有几只动物呢？」😛

🙋 树算动物吗？
🙋‍♀️ 天上飞的算吗？
🙋‍♂️ 地上爬的呢？

原来，看起来简单，认真数起来可一点都不容易！孩子们一边数、一边重新确认，深怕漏掉任何一个小细节，也在一次次提问中学会观察、分类与思考。

在游戏中观察、思考、数数，让学习自然融入欢笑；每一次的小挑战，都是孩子成长的一小步。🌱💛

🖍️ **A Little Pop Quiz!**

Some time ago, our teacher and children worked together to create a new blackboard drawing. Everyone added their own little doodle, making the picture richer and more colourful.

Yesterday, we turned it into a fun counting game:
🐦 How many birds?
🍄 How many mushrooms?
🌸 How many flowers?

Then came the final challenge:
**"How many animals are there altogether?"** 😛

🙋 "Does the tree count?"
🙋‍♀️ "What about the ones flying in the sky?"
🙋‍♂️ "Do the ones crawling on the ground count?"

What looked like an easy question turned out to be quite a challenge! The children counted, recounted, and carefully checked every little detail.

Through play, they're not only learning to count, but also learning to observe, classify, think, and ask questions. Every little challenge is another small step in their learning journey. 🌱💛

👽 这个星期的手工班 —— 外星人与飞碟 🛸✨

孩子们先动手制作飞碟的小控制器，
利老师先卖个关子，没有告诉大家今天要做什么。🤭

孩子们纷纷猜：
🎮「游戏机？」
📱「遥控器？」

各种有趣的答案都出现了！😊

接着，孩子们再用粘土慢慢捏出：
👽 可爱的外星人
🛸 飞碟造型

最后再用扭扭棒进行：
✨ 飞碟装饰
🌈 创意点缀

揉、捏、贴、弯，
一点一点完成属于自己的太空小世界 💛

👽 This Week's Craft Class — Aliens & UFOs 🛸✨

The children first started by making a small control panel for their UFO.

Teacher Lee kept the theme a secret, so everyone had to guess what they were making! 🤭

Some of the children's guesses included:
🎮 "A game console?"
📱 "A remote control?"

There were so many fun and creative answers! 😊

Next, the children carefully shaped:
👽 Cute little aliens
🛸 Their own flying saucers

Finally, they used pipe cleaners to:
✨ Decorate their UFOs
🌈 Add creative finishing touches

Rolling, shaping, sticking and bending,
they slowly brought their own little outer space world to life. 💛

把想对爸爸说的话与祝福，一笔一画写进卡片里，希望将满满的爱与感谢传达给爸爸。💕

To celebrate Father's Day, the children from our student care and craft classes have been busy preparing something special for their dads.

They carefully wrote their messages and wishes in handmade cards, hoping to express their love and appreciation for their fathers. 💕

丢回六月第一个星期的学校假期 🤗

我们做了 ⤵️ 

🌳 户外探索 —— 晒晒太阳、到游乐场玩耍，认识榴莲树，观察身边的大自然。 
🤝 玩耍时光 —— 学习沟通、分享与合作，建立友谊，也培养与同伴相处的能力。 
📚 课业巩固 —— 保持规律练习，复习与巩固已学过的知识，培养持续学习的习惯。
🎨 小手工制作 —— 简单的手作活动，训练手眼协调能力及精细动作能力。 

一次次探索、一场场游戏、一次次复习、一件件小手工，都是孩子成长与学习的重要过程。💛

Here's what we did ⤵️

🌳 Outdoor Exploration — Soaking up some sunshine, spending time at the playground, learning about durian tree, and observing the nature around us.

🤝 Play Time — Learning to communicate, share, and cooperate while building friendships and developing positive social skills.

📚 Academic Revision — Maintaining regular practice to review and reinforce what has been learned, while cultivating consistent learning habits.

🎨 Simple Crafts — Engaging in hands-on activities that help develop hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.

Every exploration, every game, every revision session, and every craft activity is an important part of a child's growth and learning journey. 💛

丢回六月第一个星期的学校假期 🤗

不是每一次实验都会成功。

这次，我们和孩子们一起尝试利用废纸制作模型。也是许多孩子第一次尝试将废纸再循环，制作成新的作品。

从一开始把废纸撕成小碎片、浸泡、搅拌成纸浆，到慢慢塑形成模型，每一个步骤都在考验着孩子们的耐心与专注力。

然而，结果并不如预期。

孩子们发现：
💡原来纸浆太湿会影响成型
💡原来制作过程中还有许多细节需要调整
💡原来作品需要更多时间风干

虽然作品没有成功完成，但孩子们收获了宝贵的经验。

因为失败并不可怕，重要的是愿意从过程中观察、思考、学习，并在下一次做得更好 💪

🌱 真正的学习，不只是成功的那一刻，而是在不断尝试、调整与成长的过程中，依然保持好奇与热情 💛

有时候，最有价值的收获，不一定是完成了一件作品，而是学会了面对挫折后依然愿意再试一次。

Not every experiment turns out successfully.

This time, we tried making models using recycled paper. For many of them, it was their first experience learning how recycled paper is made.

From tearing old paper into tiny pieces, soaking it, and mixing it into paper pulp, to slowly shaping it into a model, every step tested the children's patience, focus, and perseverance.

However, the results did not turn out quite as we had hoped.

The children discovered:
💡 Too much moisture in the paper pulp can affect the shape of the model.
💡 There are many details that need to be adjusted during the process.
💡 The finished piece needs more time to dry properly.

Although the project was not successfully completed, the children gained valuable experience.

Failure is not something to fear. What matters is being willing to observe, reflect, learn from the process, and do better the next time. 💪

🌱 True learning is not only about the moment of success, but about maintaining curiosity and enthusiasm through continuous attempts, adjustments, and growth. 💛

Sometimes, the most valuable takeaway is not completing a project, but learning to try again even after facing setbacks.

丢回六月第一个星期的学校假期 🤗

除了恢复课业练习，我们也安排了一些有趣的课外活动。

第一天，我们动手制作了拼豆钥匙扣。

有些孩子已经不是第一次尝试了，但每一次创作，都是一次新的学习与挑战。从颜色搭配、图案设计到细心摆放，每一个步骤都在潜移默化地训练孩子的：
✅ 专注力
✅ 手眼协调能力
✅ 耐心与细心

这些重要的能力并不是一朝一夕培养出来的，而是在一次次的练习与尝试中慢慢累积、扎根。

在玩乐中学习，在创作中成长 ❤️

Besides getting back into our academic practice, we also enjoyed a variety of hands-on enrichment activities.

On Day 1, the children created their own Perler bead keychains.

Some of them were already familiar with the activity, but every creation brings new opportunities to learn and grow. From choosing colour combinations and planning patterns to carefully placing each bead, every step helps develop:
✅ Focus and concentration
✅ Hand-eye coordination
✅ Patience and attention to detail

These essential skills are not built overnight. They grow gradually through repeated practice, exploration, and perseverance.

Learning through play, and growing through creating ❤️

🎨 两个周六的成果 —— 手作时钟 🕰️✨

孩子们先认识时钟的基本结构：
✔ 时针
✔ 分针
✔ 数字位置

接着，再亲手用粘土慢慢制作：
🔢 数字 1–12
🌸 亲自设计的小装饰

揉、捏、贴、摆，
一点一点完成属于自己的小细节 💛

最后再进行：
🎨 上色与细节修饰
🔧 固定数字位置
⏰ 安装时钟机芯

在创作的过程中，
孩子们练习手部精细动作、专注力，
也慢慢建立空间与数字概念。

经过两个星期的努力，
每个人都完成了独一无二的手作时钟 ✨

🎨 The result of two Saturdays — Handmade Clocks 🕰️✨

The children first learned about the basic parts of a clock:
✔ Hour hand
✔ Minute hand
✔ Number placement

Then, they slowly created their own pieces using clay:
🔢 Numbers 1–12
🌸 Their own handmade decorations

Rolling, shaping, sticking, and arranging —
carefully completing every little detail 💛

Finally, they moved on to:
🎨 Painting and adding finishing touches
🔧 Fixing the numbers in place
⏰ Installing the clock mechanism

The children practiced fine motor skills and focus,
while also building spatial awareness and number concepts.

After two weeks of effort,
they completed their own one-of-a-kind handmade clock ✨

随着母亲节的到来，
这期手工班的孩子们也亲手准备送给妈妈的小心意 💝

也让孩子们学习感恩妈妈平日里的付出 ❤️

As Mother’s Day approaches,
the children in this term’s craft class prepared little handmade gifts for their moms 💝

They created perler bead coasters and keychains,
carefully placing each bead one by one while focusing on colors and patterns ✨

Besides improving concentration and fine motor skills, the activity also reminded the children to appreciate all the love and care from their mothers ❤️
