12th May 2026 The Institute of Health and Community Medicine (IHCM) successfully conducted the Academic Workshop 2026 aimed at empowering postgraduate students with essential academic knowledge and skills.

The workshop objectives were:
🔹 To provide briefings and disseminate the latest information on academic formats and systems to postgraduate students
🔹 To deliver guidance and share best practices on academic writing and journal publications for students
🔹To facilitate discussions and enhance students' competencies in fieldwork data collection and effective data analysis
🔹To provide briefings and reinforce compliance with research laboratory regulations, as well as the proper use of relevant forms for postgraduate students
🔹An interactive experience-sharing session exploring real postgraduate journeys, challenges faced and strategies for success.

Thank you to all speakers and participants for making this workshop a success. We hope the knowledge shared will continue to inspire academic excellence and research productivity among our students.

22.04.2026 We were honoured to welcome our esteemed visitors from Sinovac to the Institute of Health and Community Medicine (IHCM), UNIMAS.

The visit provided a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and discussion on potential collaborations, particularly in the area of infectious diseases and vaccine development. We look forward to strengthening this partnership and advancing impactful research together.
