Welcome to the Programme Maintenance Audit (PMA) 2026

The Faculty of Business (FOB) warmly welcomes the panel of assessors for the Programme Maintenance Audit (PMA) for the following programmes:

Advancing Research and USR Through MMU–Telkom University Collaboration

A delegation from Multimedia University (MMU) recently visited Telkom University, Indonesia, as part of the international matching grant collaboration between the two institutions. The visit aimed to strengthen academic networking, research collaboration, and knowledge exchange between Malaysia and Indonesia.

The programme featured research-sharing sessions, discussions on the progress of the MMU–Telkom University collaborative research project, and explorations of future opportunities in digital innovation, education, and technology development.

Representing MMU were Ms. Shadia Suhaimi, Ms. Nur Baiti Shafee, Ms. Siti Nurul Huda Mohd, and Ms. Haniza Hashim, with the collaboration also involving Mr. Shukor Masuod. The delegation also conveyed its appreciation to Dr. Bayu Rima Aditya and his team for their warm hospitality throughout the visit.

A key highlight of the programme was a visit to the Metaverse Laboratory, where participants gained insights into emerging metaverse technologies and digital applications through demonstrations and research-sharing activities. The programme also included University Social Responsibility (USR) initiatives, providing opportunities for knowledge exchange, cultural engagement, and the exploration of future interdisciplinary collaborations.

This meaningful engagement reflects MMU’s commitment to fostering impactful international partnerships that advance research, innovation, and academic excellence.

CoEBIC Facilitates Collaborative Opportunities with Telkom University

Through the initiative of the Centre of Excellence for Business Innovation and Communication (CoEBIC), Multimedia University (MMU) recently held collaborative discussions with Telkom University, Indonesia, to explore opportunities for strengthening international academic and research partnerships.

Representing MMU were Dr. Yeo Sook Fern, Director of CoEBIC, and Dr. Lim Kah Boon, Deputy Dean (Postgraduate and Collaborations), Faculty of Business. The delegation was warmly received by the leadership team of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Telkom University, led by Prof. Dr. Farida Titik Kristanti, Dean of FEB.

The discussions focused on the ongoing matching grant project and explored potential collaborations in areas such as joint research, joint supervision and examination, student and staff mobility programmes, guest lectures, community service activities, double degree opportunities, and visiting industry programmes.

As part of the visit, Dr. Yeo and Dr. Lim also delivered guest lectures to MBA students, while Dr. Yeo conducted a sharing session for academic staff on “Bridging Indonesia–Malaysia Research Towards International Publication and Collaboration.”

This engagement reflects MMU's continued commitment to strengthening global partnerships, advancing internationalisation efforts, and fostering impactful collaborations that benefit academic staff, researchers, and students from both institutions.

FOB Students Inspire Young Minds Through “Mini Recycling Workshop”

A group of students from the Faculty of Business (FOB), led by Ms. Farah Alisyah Binti Mohd Mustaza under the guidance of Ms. Nur Faezah Binti Jayiddin, recently conducted a Mini Recycling Workshop at Little Caliphs Tadika Al Fateh Genius.

The workshop introduced recycling concepts to children aged 5 to 6 through engaging activities such as storytelling, recycling awareness sharing, sorting games, quizzes, and creative DIY crafts using recycled materials. One of the highlights was the recycling sorting game, where the children learned how to separate paper, plastic, glass, and aluminium into the correct recycling bins.

The young participants also showcased their creativity by transforming used materials into mini dustbins and were rewarded with “Mini Recycling Heroes” stickers for their enthusiastic participation.

This meaningful initiative reflects FOB students’ commitment to community engagement while nurturing environmental awareness and sustainable habits from a young age.

Career Connect & FOB Join Hands to Build Work Style Awareness and Career Readiness

Career Connect, in collaboration with the Department of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Business (FOB), recently organised an insightful sharing session at the I-Trade Lab, FOB.

The session featured Ms. Zielda Zainuddin, Founder of ZZ People & Culture Solutions and an MMU alumna with over 20 years of HR experience across industries including oil and gas, technology, and manufacturing.

Drawing from her professional journey with organisations such as PETRONAS, Hyundai Motors Malaysia, Prudential BSN Takaful, and UMW Toyota Motor, Ms. Zielda shared valuable insights on workplace expectations, communication, leadership, workplace culture, and career development. The session provided students with practical guidance on preparing for their future careers and navigating the transition from university to the workplace.

FOB extends its appreciation to Ms. Zielda for sharing her expertise and inspiring our students to position themselves for career success.

Trash to Cash 3.0 Promotes Sustainability Through Community Recycling Effort

The Trash to Cash 3.0 programme successfully brought together the MMU community and nearby residents in a collective effort to promote environmental sustainability through recycling.

Organised by PSR Faculty of Business (FOB) in collaboration with FMD, UPG, IU, and SWCorp Melaka, the programme collected an impressive 981.1 kg of recyclable materials, including used cooking oil, e-waste, metal, paper, plastic, aluminium, and fabric.

The event was honoured by the presence of Ms. Siti Rohayu Binti Mohd Isa, Deputy Director of SWCorp Melaka, and highlighted the importance of responsible waste management and community participation in sustainability efforts.

Aligned with SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, Trash to Cash 3.0 demonstrates how small actions can create a significant positive impact on our environment.
