and build coherence in conversation. CQ Journal is written by a Sarawakian thinker and cultural observer exploring how cultural intelligence shapes identity, leadership, and social cohesion. Drawing from lived experience in Sarawak and across Malaysia, this page applies a CQ lens to contemporary issues not to persuade or provoke, but to clarify, slow down narratives, and widen understanding. Much of what CQ describes are practices Sarawakians already live by navigating difference through restraint, context, and relational awareness. There is a quiet wisdom in this that deserves to be named and preserved, especially in an increasingly reactive world.
