Kulliyyah of Science (KOS), IIUM is immensely proud to announce that four of our outstanding researchers have successfully secured the prestigious Geran Eksploratori & Transformatif (GET) funded by the Ministry of Higher Education (Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi)! 🇲🇾✨

Collectively, our brilliant academics have secured a total of RM384,000 in research grants to drive high-impact, transformative studies across diverse scientific fields.

The Department of Marine Science, IIUM and the Institute of Oceanography and Maritime Studies (Iium Inocem), Kulliyyah of Science (KOS), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), recently hosted a highly successful international collaboration programme on 14–15 July 2026 at the IIUM Centre of Natural and Health Sciences, Kuantan Campus!

🎯 Programme Overview:
This milestone event was organised to strengthen academic and research ties between IIUM, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (UNSOED, Indonesia), and Universitas Terbuka (UT, Indonesia).

Together, we took significant steps toward fostering strategic, long-term partnerships across education, research, innovation, and community engagement in marine science. 🔬🤝

This guest lecture served as a continuation of the strong academic relationship established under the MoU between IIUM and Universitas Esa Unggul.

In line with this successful engagement, discussions were also held regarding the renewal of the MoU to further strengthen future academic collaborations, joint research, and student-staff exchanges, InshaAllah.
