On 19 May, we successfully co-hosted the GLOBAL YOUTH CONNECT 2026: Empowering Identity & Leadership in the Digital Era, a meaningful platform dedicated to empowering youth with essential leadership and digital-era skills. The event brought together participants from diverse backgrounds to engage in insightful discussions on self-branding, leadership, and navigating today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape.

On May 7, while hosting the “Cultural Diversity and Decision-Making Biases in International Business Collaboration” engagement and training programme, in collaboration with the Embassy of Tajikistan in Malaysia , we had the honour of speaking with Third Secretary Farhod Qiyomuddinov.
He shared his opinions on the importance of cross-cultural experiences for students, international knowledge sharing, and cultural awareness in the workplace among other insightful perspectives on our globalized world.

On 19 May, the International Transnational Education Association (ITEA), together with its secretariat, the International Cultural Communication Center Malaysia (ICCCM), successfully hosted the global workshop titled “International Impact Building for Higher Education Institutions: The Technological Universities System in Egypt.”
The workshop brought together educators, researchers, higher education professionals, and participants from around the world to explore Egypt’s evolving technological higher education landscape.
The event commenced with an opening speech by Dr. Ahmed El-Geushey, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Technological Education (SCTE), Egypt, who shared valuable insights on the importance of technological education, international cooperation, and strengthening higher education systems to meet future industry and workforce demands.
The session was further enriched by a keynote presentation from Prof. Dr. Mohamed Watany, who provided a comprehensive overview of the Technological Universities System in Egypt, highlighting the country’s efforts in promoting industry-driven education, applied learning, curriculum innovation, and alignment with the latest educational developments.
Participants also gained valuable exposure to Egypt’s approach in bridging academia and industry through technological universities, structured internship models, practical training pathways, and the implementation of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) to enhance graduate employability and align with international standards.
We are also pleased to announce that the next session in this international education series will feature the Education System in Kazakhstan on 25 June 2026. Stay tuned for more upcoming global engagement opportunities.

On 17 April, successfully hosted the Malaysia–China “Chinese Language + Vocational Skills” Training Signing, Inauguration, and Opening Ceremony between Dali Nursing Vocational College and Universiti Selangor (UNISEL), marking a significant milestone in advancing Malaysia–China educational collaboration and international talent development.
The online inaugural ceremony brought together distinguished leaders, academic representatives, lecturers, and students from both institutions to celebrate the launch of this meaningful initiative aimed at strengthening language education, vocational skills development, and global academic cooperation.
Representing Dali Nursing Vocational College were President Mr. Shi Longfu, Vice President Mr. Zi Lipeng, Vice President Mr. Guo Xiangzhou, Vice President Ms. Li Jie, together with department directors, academic leaders, and faculty representatives. Representing Universiti Selangor (UNISEL) were Vice Chancellor Prof. Emeritus Ir. Dato’ Dr. Hassan bin Basri, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Mr. Mohd Sharikh Dali bin Mahad, Director of International Office Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hashimah binti Ismail, Lecturer of Diploma in Nursing Programme Mrs. Khairul Mazzura binti Mansor, along with other UNISEL staff members.
During the ceremony, both institutions also introduced the upcoming training programme, which will focus on Health Assessment for UNISEL students. The training will be conducted by five instructors from Dali Nursing Vocational College, namely Mr. Bi Yutao, Mr. Guo Taibing, Mr. Shi Jiwen, Mr. Li Yuan, and Mr. Jin Xu. The programme will consist of five sessions with a total duration of 10 training hours.
This collaboration reflects a shared commitment toward enhancing international education, strengthening academic exchange between Malaysia and China, and equipping students with both language proficiency and professional competencies in an increasingly globalised environment.
