“我们的第一场活动算是蛮成功的。虽然不是完美的，但大家都尽力了。这次的合作让我们更清楚地了解彼此的强项和弱点。我们尽量发现彼此的优点，同时弥补他人的不足。

每个人都有默默的付出，包括一些不被看到的努力。特别感谢：
Thiam 老师负责的设计，Tao 老师的舞台音响，Peggy 老师的家人和 团队的支持。

举办比赛总会遇到各种问题，但看到孩子们领奖时的笑容，我觉得一切都值了。这就像西天取经，尽管会经历很多困难，但别忘了欣赏沿途的风景。这段经历既有温暖，也带来了磨练。希望下一次我们能做得更好。”

很高兴介绍陈连伟老师，作为2024年亚太音乐与才艺大赛（APMTC）的评审之一。

从小，陈连伟老师便展现出对音乐的天赋。在小学时，他加入了敲击乐队和铜管乐队，沉浸在音乐的美妙世界中。当他进入芙蓉振华中学后，迫不及待地加入了学校的军铜乐队，擅长低音号和长号，展现了出色的吹奏技巧。

因表现优异，他被任命为乐队队长。1986年，他带领乐队参加全森军铜乐队比赛，脱颖而出，荣获全州“最佳军铜乐队队长”的称号。这不仅是他个人的荣誉，也为学校增添了光彩。

在军铜乐队之外，他还学习了钢琴和吉他，并特别喜欢上了乌克丽丽。对各种乐器的广泛兴趣，以及不断创新、挑战自我的精神，使他成为音乐爱好者的榜样。

2019年，陈老师受邀担任森华堂康乐组乌克丽丽指导老师，并前往芙蓉罗白区PPRT，为弱势家庭的孩子和老年人教授乌克丽丽。这份工作充满挑战，需要耐心和爱心。陈老师用他的细心与关怀逐步帮助学生们克服障碍，不辜负大家对他的信任与期望。

We are delighted to introduce Teacher Bryan as one of the judges for the 2024 Asia Pacific Music & Talent Championship (APMTC).

Teacher Bryan discovered his love for music at a young age. He joined the percussion and brass bands in primary school and was quickly drawn into the world of music. When he attended Seremban Chan Wa High School, he couldn’t wait to join the school’s military brass band, where he played the euphonium and trombone, showcasing his musical talent.

His skills and dedication earned him the role of band drum major, and in 1986, he led the team to the Negeri Sembilan military brass band competition. His leadership and performance stood out, and he was honored with the title of Best Military Brass Band Drum Major in the state—a big achievement that made his school proud.

Alongside his brass band experience, Bryan also learned to play the piano, guitar, and eventually fell in love with the ukulele. His passion for different instruments and his eagerness to push his own boundaries made him a role model in the music community.

In 2019, he took on the role of seed instructor for the Sen Hua Tang Kang Le Zhu Ukulele Group in Negeri Sembilan and was also asked to teach ukulele to children from underprivileged B40 families and seniors at the PPRT housing area in Lobak, Seremban. This was a challenging role, requiring patience and empathy to work with vulnerable groups. Bryan’s warmth and dedication gradually helped students progress, meeting the hopes of those who trusted in his guidance.

尽管我们并非专业主持人，但作为相伴超过 24 年的夫妻搭档，彼此携手一路走来，我们曾一起参与过无数次才艺活动，对音乐和表演充满无限的热爱与热忱。*美萍* 对舞蹈和歌唱尤为热衷，她拥有丰富的艺术参与经历，总是通过音乐和舞蹈热情地表达着对生活的热爱，为身边的朋友带来满满的正能量。而 *Bryan* 则以他特有的风趣幽默深受观众喜爱，总能以轻松的互动和机智的语言活跃气氛，为大家带来欢笑和愉悦。

多年来，我们共同参与各种才艺活动，不论是与朋友们欢唱或起舞，还是为不同的才艺赛事加油助威，这些经历都让我们倍感珍惜。作为本次大赛的主持人，我们将带着满满的真诚与热情，期待与大家分享音乐的魅力与快乐，同时也希望能够为每一位参赛者带去鼓励和支持。

在这个充满才华与激情的舞台上，我们迫不及待地想要见证每一位选手的努力与风采，期待与您一同度过一段温馨、欢快的美好时光！

We’re thrilled to share that Bryan and Mei Peng will be hosting the Ukulele Competition at the 2024 Asia Pacific Music and Talent Competition (APMTC)!

We may not be pro hosts, but after 24 years of marriage and tons of talent events together, we’re ready for this! Mei Ping brings her love of dance and singing, always lifting everyone’s spirits with her energy and passion for the arts. And Bryan’s unique humor? Let’s just say he’s the guy who knows how to keep the crowd smiling and relaxed with his fun and witty style.

Through the years, we’ve had the best time at various talent events, whether it’s been singing and dancing with friends or cheering on other performers. These memories are so precious to us, and we’re excited to bring that same joy and warmth to this event.

We can’t wait to see each performer’s hard work and talent on this amazing stage. Let’s make it a memorable, uplifting time together!
