The 24th edition of our Grand Prix ended yesterday (10/5/2026) with its final 5th Leg.

Our Grand Prix is usually five (5) Legs which is equivalent to a club meeting once a month. The 24th KL Chess Grand Prix ran from January to May 2026. Prizes including cash and trophies are awarded to the participants with the highest accumulative points of each category. Each Leg usually attracts between 80-110 eager participants.

The 7th WPKL Classics just wrapped its May Day edition. Here are the happy winners today (3/5/2026).

The 7th KL Classics 2026 (1-3 May 2026) just started it's 1st round with close to 70 players coming from near and as far as China, Indonesia, the Philippines, Kedah, Kelantan and Pahang.

The WPKL Open 2026 Circuit 4 was completed yesterday (26/4/2026) with a decent turnout of almost 70 players despite other tournament options avaliable.

The WPKL Circuit 3 has just ended today (15/3/2026) in what seemed to be a congregation of the Goliaths in the KL Chess scene. A satisfactory turnout even though it is during Ramadan, we are grateful to players as far as Teluk Intan and Penang who commuted all the way here.

The 3rd Leg of our 24th Grand Prix just ended today (8/3/2026). About 100 players competed today with approx 40 in Beginner and 60 in Open Categories.
