This month, our theme is Community & Helpers—helping children connect what they learn in school to the real world around them. 🌱

Last week, our children stepped into the world of community helpers—becoming firefighters, police officers, bakers, doctors, dentists, farmers, veterinarians, volunteers, and many more. Through imaginative role play, they explored real-life responsibilities, built empathy, and discovered how each role contributes to our community.

Inspired by the Finland education approach, we believe children learn best through play—where creativity, collaboration, and curiosity come naturally. When children pretend, they don’t just play—they are making sense of the world around them in a meaningful way.

🌿 Science Beyond the Book 🌿

Science is not only something children learn from books, it is something they experience.

Our little explorers discovered nature through their senses by touching, stepping, and feeling different natural materials like grass, stones, mud, water, leaves, and soil.

They also created their own mini terrarium and learned how plants can grow in a small environment. Through hands-on exploration, children understand the world around them in the most meaningful way.

Learning through experience makes science fun, memorable, and exciting! 🌱👣😘

Learning Bahasa Malaysia through a fun cooking activity! 🍳👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Today, the children explored “Deria & Jenis-jenis Bahan Masakan” during their Bahasa lesson. From cutting ingredients to helping with the cooking, everyone was excited to be part of the process.

They used their five senses — tasting, hearing, seeing, touching, and smelling — to discover different ingredients and flavors. It was a joyful hands-on learning experience, and the best part was enjoying the delicious food they prepared together!

Learning becomes more meaningful when children can explore, create, and have fun at the same time. 💛

Learning Mandarin Step by Step 📚

From recognizing single words, to forming two-word phrases, and gradually reading simple sentences, our children are learning Mandarin step by step with focus and confidence.

At our school, it’s not only about play. We also guide children to build a strong learning foundation from young. In multicultural Malaysia, learning different languages helps children grow with wider opportunities and understanding. 🌱

Learning About Me & My Body! 🧍‍♂️🦴🎶

This month, our children explored their body parts and learned how to take care of their bodies.

They sang the Five Senses song, discovered how their bones move, and practiced identifying different body parts.

Through fun activities such as Building Body Sculpting and the Skeleton Action Game, the children learned to listen carefully, follow instructions, and work together as a team.

Learning becomes even more meaningful when we move, sing, and cooperate! 💕

Teacher Training 2026 | Before School Starts

Before the new school year begins, we gather for Teacher Training 2026 — a time to pause, recharge, and grow together as educators. As lifelong learners, we continue to learn, reflect, and renew our passion for teaching.

This training also includes an art and craft session, giving us space to create, relax, and find fresh inspiration. Through learning and creativity, we prepare our hearts and minds to guide our children with purpose, patience, and joy as we begin the new school year.

This week during our holiday program, our kids had an amazing time with a fun camping experience right here at school 🏕️✨

From building their own tents to sitting together for storytelling, every moment was filled with laughter and excitement. They explored their creativity through art and craft, tried “fishing”, went on little adventures to find insects, and baked marshmallows and sausages together — a big favourite! 🔥🌭

We also sang, danced, and enjoyed music together with the ukulele, creating such a joyful and relaxed atmosphere.

It was all about learning through play, making new friends, and enjoying every moment together.So many smiles, so much fun, and lots of beautiful memories made.

🎄 Merry Christmas & Happy Children’s Day! 🎄

On the last day of school, we celebrated Children’s Day with a joyful Christmas Party filled with laughter, creativity, and learning. Our little ones made gingerbread men, listened to The Gingerbread Man story, created Christmas tree crafts, played games, danced happily, and enjoyed a lovely gift exchange 🎁💃🕺

Even during a Christmas party, learning never stops，children practiced listening skills, followed instructions, expressed creativity, worked together, and learned the joy of sharing and celebrating with friends.

It was truly a wonderful day of learning through play, stories, art, music, and togetherness ❤️

🌈 Theme of the Month: We Are Artists 🎨

This month, our preschoolers stepped into the world of art through the joyful and imaginative works of Yayoi Kusama, an artist well known for her iconic polka dots. We explored how simple dots can turn into powerful stories, patterns, and emotions.

Inspired by Yayoi’s art, the children were encouraged to express themselves freely, using dots, colours, and shapes to create their very own artworks. There was no right or wrong, only imagination, curiosity, and joy. Each piece reflects the child’s unique ideas and creativity 💫
