Representing UPTM were YBhg. Dr. Mohd Erfino Johari, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic & Internationalisation), and Mr. Mohd Azidee Mohamad Zin, Manager of the Marketing & Student Admission Department.

Congratulations to Our UPTM Students on Successfully Completing the Russia’s Inbound Tourism Specialities & Opportunities Programme 2.0!

A total of 15 students from Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia (UPTM), representing the Faculty of Business and Accountancy (FABA), Faculty of Communication and Media (FCOM), and Faculty of Education, Social Sciences and Humanities (FESSH), successfully participated in the Russia’s Inbound Tourism Specialities & Opportunities Programme 2.0, a two-week international mobility programme jointly organised with Russian House.

The programme concluded with its Closing Ceremony, held at Russian House, Kuala Lumpur, on 24 July 2026, marking the successful completion of an enriching learning journey that provided participants with valuable insights into Russia’s tourism industry, cultural exchange, and international collaboration.

🎉 Special congratulations to Muhammad Adib Zikri bin Kamarul Idzham (BE203, FESSH) for receiving a Special Recognition Award from Russian House in appreciation of his outstanding commitment, active engagement, and excellent participation throughout the programme.

As part of its commitment to expanding its global academic presence, Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia (UPTM) paid a courtesy visit to the Embassy of Malaysia in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.

The delegation was warmly received by His Excellency Ahmad Kamrizamil bin Mohd Riza, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Sultanate of Oman, together with Mr. Nur Misuari Harun, Minister Counsellor.

The visit provided an invaluable opportunity to explore the higher education landscape in Oman and discuss UPTM's strategic direction in strengthening its presence within the Omani education market. Constructive discussions focused on fostering academic collaboration, enhancing student mobility, and identifying potential partnerships that will benefit both nations.

UPTM remains committed to broadening access to quality Malaysian higher education while building meaningful international partnerships that contribute to academic excellence and global engagement.

Kuala Lumpur, July 2026 – A total of 500 newly enrolled students from the July 2026 intake participated in the Campus Living Talk with HEPA, an engaging and informative session designed to prepare students for a successful transition into university life while encouraging them to embrace a vibrant, responsible, and enriching campus experience.

The programme was attended by the Director of Student Affairs and Alumni (HEPA), together with the Facilities Manager, Wardens, and Fellow Wardens,who warmly welcomed the new students and reaffirmed UPTM’s commitment to providing a safe, inclusive, and student-centred residential environment.

Throughout the session, students were introduced to key aspects of campus living, including residence rules and regulations, safety and security procedures, student responsibilities, and the wide range of support services available during their stay. More than just an orientation, the talk encouraged students to uphold discipline, integrity, mutual respect, and a strong sense of community while adapting to university life.

Through initiatives such as the Campus Living Talk with HEPA, UPTM continues to strengthen its commitment to nurturing well-rounded graduates by fostering a campus culture that values academic excellence, personal development, leadership, and a strong sense of belonging.
