When you think of a Board Retreat, you might picture long speeches, dense slide decks, and leaders sitting at the head of a formal conference table.

Yesterday at INCEIF, it looked very different.

Under the theme Reflect, Recalibrate, Realise, our Board of Directors didnโ€™t just listen to updates, they rolled up their sleeves and sat in the classrooms alongside our faculty, division heads, and operational teams.

Divided into focused breakout sessions, covering everything from the academic portfolio, research pipelines, industry advisory, consulting and executive education to student experience and enrolment, Board membersโ€”DG Adnan Zaylani Mohamad Zahid, Dato Dr Nik Ramlah Nik Mahmood, Datoโ€™ Mohd Izani Ghani, Tuan Syed Abdull Aziz Syed Kechik, Dr Aamir Abdul Rehman and Siti Kamariah Ahmad Subki actively brainstormed with team leads. Meanwhile, our Chairman, Tan Sri Datuk Wira Azman Mokhtar and PCEO, Prof Emeritus Dato' Dr Mohd Azmi Omar, rotated across every classroom to hear real challenges and progress directly from the ground.

When leadership sits at the same table to solve real problem statements together, strategy stops being just a document, it becomes a shared commitment.
