Timo, a brave Belgian Malinois rescue dog, had spent years saving lives — but his greatest mission came when four children went missing in the rainforest. For three long days, the team searched with no luck. Then Timo caught a scent and led rescuers straight to the terrified, dehydrated kids huddled beneath the trees.

But as the storm returned and floods swept through, Timo was lost. His handler, Captain Almeida, refused to stop searching. For five days, they scoured the jungle — until a faint bark broke through the rain. Timo was found weak, injured, but alive. His tail still wagged when he saw Almeida.

“He didn’t just save those children,” the captain said through tears. “He reminded us what loyalty means.”

Timo became a national hero — a symbol of courage and devotion. Even after retirement, his story continued to inspire countless hearts.

The poor quality of Malaysia's education system is more worrying than the level of debt in its households, said a World Bank senior economist in Kuala Lumpur today.
This is because the country's substandard education system would affect the pool of skilled talent it needs to grow its economy to become a highincome nation, while high household debt is not necessarily a problem if the economy continues to grow and citizens are gainfully employed.

Dr Frederico Gil Sander, who is senior economist for Malaysia, said Malaysians should be "alarmed" that their children were doing worse in school than children in Vietnam, a country that is poorer than Malaysia.
