The locally expanded Library of Congress Classification subclass BP can no longer accommodate the emerging new and sophisticated topics related to Islam. At the end of 2012, the IIUM Library had devised captions (headings and sub-headings), and then later in 2015 constructed the class numbers and subject headings based on the structure and conventions of the universally accepted LC classification
