As we continue to navigate the book of Zechariah, we see God's grace once again through reconciliation and desires heartfelt devotion, promising He would live among His people and cause them to experience His blessings. These amazing promises point to Christ's return which gives His people hope and comfort.

As we re-examine our hearts, how has our outward compliance matter more than the posture of our hearts toward God? How will you allow God to transform you so that others notice Christ's presence?

As we cover and conclude Zechariah's remaining night visions, we see the reality of sin and God's judgement towards wickedness and sin. We also see how by God's grace that he has sent His Son to provide a way for those condemned by sin to find forgiveness and wholeness. We also learned that Christ, as Priest and King, will bring God's redemptive plan to completion as He redeems His people.

Knowing this, how can we fill our minds with God's truth, which prepares us to filter what we see and feel through what God has declared as unchangeably true?

How will you step forward on solid ground and trust God today?

This week we covered Zechariah 1:1-6, we learnt that Zechariah was called by to God to remind the former exiles to turn from their sin and return to God in repentance.

We also learnt that true repentance are formed from 3 essential responses, through the Holy Spirit

1. The conviction of sin by recognising sin's damage and how our sin offends God;s righteous character and standards
2. Repentance brings contrition or godly sorrow over sin
3. A repentant sinner experiences conversion and deliberately turning away from their sin to obey God.

Repentance presents God's grace to wayward sinners.

We have seen how God has worked through His people in the past lessons, and this week, we see God's persistent heart towards His people.

What is your response to God knowing He waits for us to turn to Him and put Him first? Knowing this, how has God called you to live for His power and His glory?

As we conclude on the study on the book of Haggai, we learnt that obedient faith requires placing God first in out lives.

We see how God has showcased His grace to His people and His faithfulness by sending Haggai so that His people can reconsider and contemplate the past, consider the present and confess their need to seek Him.

As we come to a close for our Esther mini study, we can see God's hand working in the lives of Esther and Mordecai.

We often face seemingly challenging situations, trials and wearying opposition as well as deep pain. Though God's resolutions and reversals may not seem as swift or neat as we desire, we can trust that He is doing something bigger than we imagine.

Too often life's troubles loom large and God's faithfulness seems like a distant memory. But let us recount God's grace and faithfulness which prepares us to joyfully anticipate His ongoing work in our lives!

How will you trust in God with your lot today?

Last week, we learned that God's overruling providence in positioning and preserving His people His plans.

Like Esther and Mordecai, God's people live as exiles and aliens in this world, awaiting final deliverance to their eternal home.
