Turning Youth Voices into Policy. 🇲🇾

The final chapter of our YEF 2026 Roundtable Dialogue Series.

The Perdana Fellows Alumni Association (PFAA) engaged with YB Tuan Gobind Singh Deo , Minister of Digital, together with the Ministry’s senior leadership and mydigitalcorp , alongside industry leaders Moomoo MY and Gamuda , and youth partners Majlis Belia Malaysia and UKEC .

Across the series, we brought together policymakers, industry and youth stakeholders to sharpen six key policy proposals:

🤖 AI for Every Business, Every Malaysian
🌱 Green Economy Access for Youth
🎓 National Skills Credit for Youth
🌏 National FDI & Talent Development
🏛️ AI for Public Service Transformation
🗣️ National Youth Economic Action Council

These proposals reflect what young Malaysians want to see in Malaysia’s next decade: better opportunities, future-ready skills, stronger innovation and a meaningful role in shaping our economic future.

The insights gathered throughout the series will now be consolidated into a policy paper to be presented to YAB Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim at Youth Economic Forum 2026.

From youth voices, to policy, to action. 🇲🇾🚀

The Second Takeoff: Building Malaysia’s Economic Resilience 🇲🇾🚀

A great session with YB Liew Chin Tong , Deputy Minister of Finance, at the PFAA Speaker Series on what Malaysia needs for its next economic takeoff.

5 key takeaways:

1. The Three Middles – Be indispensable in global supply chains, a credible Middle Power, and build a strong middle class.
2. Quality Growth – Move beyond low wages, environmental costs and overdependence on FDI.
3. Tech Fluency – Build technological capabilities across every layer of society.
4. Raise the Floor – Put people’s well-being at the heart of economic progress.
5. Local Resilience – Strengthen domestic capabilities, businesses and opportunities.

Thank you, YB Liew Chin Tong, for an insightful conversation on Malaysia’s economic future. 🇲🇾

The second takeoff starts with the right conversations. 🚀
