Alhamdulillah, happy to share that our paper has been published in Sustainable Chemistry One World, a Scopus-indexed Elsevier journal on ScienceDirect.
Started my PhD journey just 5 months ago, and Alhamdulillah, already a paper out! Truly grateful for this blessing.
This review focuses on smart bio-reactor systems for CO₂ capture and conversion, integrating IoT-AI sensing, microbial biochemistry, and predictive control for cleaner and more sustainable cities.

I’m pleased to share that I have successfully completed the certification course on Satellite Data Products for Climate Change Applications.

This training enhanced my understanding of satellite data handling and its applications in air pollution assessment, environmental monitoring, climate change analysis, and weather forecasting. It also provided valuable insights into the use of remote sensing products such as MODIS and other Earth observation datasets for analyzing atmospheric and environmental changes.

I’m truly happy to have conducted a Research Methodology session with undergraduate and postgraduate students from University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh.

It’s encouraging to see such strong commitment to sustainability and the Sustainable Development Goals in action.

Through their platform, YOUReach - Youth in Research and Action for Social Change, these students are actively working towards climate betterment in Rajshahi.

Always happy to support such meaningful initiatives. In line with Sunway University’s commitment to sustainability, I look forward to contributing and collaborating wherever possible for a greener, more resilient future.

Looking back, a few things really made the difference to land on a full Scholarship fast tracked PhD -
– Maintaining a strong CGPA
– Getting involved in research and publications
– Gaining hands-on experience in my field
– Staying genuinely passionate about what I do

But if I’m being real, the biggest factor was finding the right supervisor and approaching them the right way. That changed everything.

I’m going to start sharing more about my PhD journey, research life, and what I learn along the way! Hopefully it helps someone else who’s aiming for the same path.
