Find Your Purpose

Persist Until I Succeed

What does this really mean to you, ‘Persist Until I Succeed’?

We all believe that we persist when failure strikes, but do we really do?

How many times do we complain when things don’t go right; you lose a job, your wealth, got on the wrong side of the law, or even got moved out of a business you started?

We are all humans and negativity get to us, that’s natural. But we must think deep and know, it is not over, until we say it’s over.

Only if you consider defeat will it be defeat. Learn to remove vocabulary such words and phrases as quit, cannot, unable, impossible, out of the question, improbable, failure, unworkable, hopeless and retreat; for they are words of fools.

Avoid despair, but if this disease of the mind infects you then work on in despair. Toil and endure, ignore all obstacles, and keep your mind on your GOAL above your head.

Limiting Belief Stop You Growing!

Did you know beliefs are formed from the age of 0 to 6?

This is an analytical time when children begin to form viewpoints, theories, notions that eventually become their beliefs for life.

These beliefs are passed on from parent or an adult who is only looking out for the child’s best interest but in the process, use words, phrases or implant habits that become a child’s belief system.

We’ve all been taught this; John has 5 ‘apples’; he eats 2 how many are left? 3 apples 🙂

Our human mind loves what is familiar and so we in turn teach our children the same when we become adults. And to give it a twist, replace apples with pears or oranges.

Successful people used different words; John has 5 businesses; he sells 2, how many does he own?

This human mind grows up with ‘business’ as a familiar words and a different belief system that educates them to create businesses, not find apples.

You see, we learn what we live and no matter how far we go in life, our human mind goes back to what is familiar.

Same old, same old, keeps us safe, it becomes our comfort zone, the minds wiring, a belief that’s says if you stay where you are you are safe.

Our mind is a survival, safe mind.

But we don’t need to be safe, we need to be excited, take risks to live in abundance.

Life is all about your belief system.

In the last few months, I’ve shattered my old, limited beliefs, challenged it, questioned it, so it never stays true and have replaced it with new ones. Life has never been the same.

I’m living life on my terms, a new freedom, financially free, doing what I want, when I want, at my time and space. My mind works with the universe to find me opportunities to live an abundant free life.

You can do the same.

Do not let any limited beliefs of the past stop you from moving the needles in your life?

Ponder on what are those limited beliefs that stop you, then pack all those beliefs in a box and destroy it completely.

Replace them with new beliefs that will push you towards your goals and dreams.

You are the master of your universe, only you can change YOU and the thoughts in YOU. So be Bold and Boldly step up, step up, step up....

BABY MINDSET
Mindset, is what holds most people back, but where does it all begin?

Babies are born with a positive mindset. Right from the time it is in the mother’s womb, it gets constant attention. It gets fed on time, is kept warm and cosy, gets the food it demands, and so is born with a mindset that it can get whatever it wants, whenever and wherever it wants, that it (baby) Matters.

Baby wakes up at 3am for a feed, it cares less if the mother has to work the next day, or the dad has had a long day, because it knows when it wakes up it will get the attention it deserves. The mindset, that "It Matters" is nursed by the parents and so the mindset belief starts from a very young age.

From messing up the brand-new sheets or even bringing up on your nicely ironed white shirt as you’re rushing off to work. It knows the parent will not yell or shout, because the baby Matters, that it is the parent’s pride and joy.

As the baby gets bigger, and can’t get what it wants, it throws tantrums, rolls on the floor and eventually gets what it wants, as parents especially after a long day at work, give into the small demands which grow as the baby gets older.

And, so from this very young age, it builds up a belief that it matters and must get what it wants, when it wants and if it does not happen, it builds a negative mindset, where anger, egos, pain, attitude, fear reside.

And as the baby becomes an adult, the negativity and fear hold them back from reaching their goals.

Mindset is everything.

Choose your words carefully as babies analyse and build beliefs that last forever.

Your THOUGHTS Matter!

Your body’s wellness is influenced by your thoughts?

We face stressful situations everyday and we try to fix the symptom when really, we need to fix the thought that drives the symptom.

When a thought is treated, it transforms one forever, so the symptom does not recur.

Everything originates from your THINKING

Change thinking and have an immediate change in body.

Try this; Close your eyes and IMAGINE, you’re eating a lemon, bite into the lemon and feel the taste of bitterness in your mouth, Suck the lemon, chew it. Can you feel saliva created in your mouth to wash the bitterness away?

That’s the power of thinking!

As humans and as adults we have the ability to express ourselves and heal ourselves.

Kids on the other hand, don’t have a voice but their body does the talking for them.

When a child does not get what it wants, it rolls on the floor, stubborn and cries, the body helps them express themselves and heals them as soon as they get what they want or are made to understand.

Obstacles Create Opportunity & Value

Anyone with a little common sense, will know that the foundational piece of personal development is ‘ATTITUDE'. Attitude determines Altitude. Your attitude about life, yourself and people determines everything. If you’re pessimistic, you’ll have a pessimistic life or if you’re optimistic you’ll will have a better life. Which one are you?

One of the attitudes wealthy people possess and go after is that ‘obstacles and challenges create opportunity and value’. What it means is whenever an opportunity arises and it comes with challenges, obstacles, pains, threats or anything like, they:
o Rise to the occasions
o Feel better about it
o Condition their brain to do it again and again every time

And they succeed in life tapping into every opportunity and not letting it pass.

But for most majority of us, when an opportunity comes with obstacles or challenges, we fear failure and tell ourselves it's too risky to move forward and so loose out on the value and the rewards the opportunity brings.

So, instead of worrying about the fear, we should get excited when we fail or are in a risky situation because every amount of stress in our life gives us the opportunity to grow and the rewards are many.
What happens when you drink a lot of water? Your bladder gets stressed, gets full and you have to release it and when you do, you feel great, relaxed, right?

It’s the same with an opportunity that comes with stress, when you learn to accept it, know more about it, break it into bits, address each little bit at a time, automatically you find solutions, and feel relaxed when you resolve it. So, stop feeling fearful and rise to the occasion. Get up and be strong in the moment and take full advantage of all obstacles; they Create Value.

Think about an obstacle in your life that when you faced it, it took you to a level of satisfaction. And think of an obstacle that you let go and later wished you had managed it differently.

And as my mentor Joseph McClendon III says, “life is exactly how you dare to make it, fortune favors the bold, boldly step up and make your life magnificent!”
