Invitation to Participate in World 2026 – Surah Al-Muzzammil Recitation

Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

We are pleased to invite all IIUM Alumni around the world to take part in the upcoming World 2026, which will be held on 11 March 2026.

In conjunction with this meaningful global initiative, we warmly request your participation in reciting Surah Al-Muzzammil in your respective countries. You may record a short video of your recitation (individually, with family, or with your local community) and share it with the IIUM Alumni Office. The compiled videos will be featured during the event on 11 March 2026 as a symbol of our united global alumni community.

Alternatively, alumni who wish to participate live may register as an official Hot Spot and organize a recitation session in your area. Registration can be made via the following link:

Ramadhan is here, and classes are still ongoing. Even while fasting, this blessed month is embraced with discipline and purpose, making time for Qur’an, dhikr, and staying motivated for the barakah. Study groups continue, campus moments at IIUM are cherished and the nights are completed with Taraweeh at the mosque.

On 26 January 2026, Harun M. Hashim Law Centre (HMHLC) conducted an official visit to Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA) – Bahagian Pembangunan Modal Insan to deliberate on training collaboration opportunities for the coming year.

The visit was led by Assoc. Prof. Zuraidah, Director of HMHLC, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Nor Hafizah, Deputy Director of HMHLC.

With over five years of continuous collaboration with JPA, we are pleased to share that JPA has agreed in principle to proceed with several upcoming training programmes. We look forward to strengthening this partnership and delivering impactful training initiatives together.
