A huge thanks to for letting us be part of this round of donations. 🥰 this round, we got the chance to chat with some families and even husbands who collected on behalf of their daughters and wives. Most importantly, we learned a few things: education and awareness on menstruation still needs to continue. Some beneficiaries were shy, while some didn’t even know what we were distributing. We look forward to spreading more positivity and more awareness as we continue distributing.

It all started when five women with the same passion, the passion to address period poverty and do more for the women in Malaysia, came together to start our little 'Period Je!' project. We're excited to see the interest in our efforts so far, and there is more to come.

Period Je to give away sanitary pads, normalise taboo topic | The Malaysian Insight It's a project by ordinary women to help others in need.

After weeks of planning, we were finally able to distribute our first batch of sanitary products to the women and girls in Chow Kit. Many financially-strapped families and individuals do not prioritise pads in their monthly purchases. Understanding the importance of menstrual hygiene, we went out into the streets in hopes that we can alleviate some of their struggles. Like says, "As long as we keep trying, there is hope". There is definitely hope. ❤️
