This day was built around three simple things:
COURAGE, CONFIDENCE, CARING
The three things the GDP4.0 team hoped every child would take home at the end of the day.
But as the day unfolded, we realised something unexpected.
The children were teaching us too.
They reminded us to run without worrying about how we look.
To laugh without holding back.
To try simply because it looks fun.
To find joy in the little things we often take for granted.
For the children, it was a day to become Young Firefighters. 🚒
For the GDP4.0 team, it became a reminder of what it feels like to simply be present, play, connect and care.
As Joe Han shared:
”It feels like today I become a kid again.“
And Jackson reminded us that sometimes, the little joys we take for granted are the very things that mean the most.
That is the WOW.
Not just the firefighter gear.
Not just the activities.
Not just the smiles.
But the connection, trust and courage created when we choose to show up for one another.
A heartfelt thank you to Asiaworks Foundation for making this CSR experience possible, and to the 🌸 GDP4.0 team for putting heart, energy and purpose into every moment.
And to our wonderful Sunbeam Children.
Thank you for reminding us that courage can look like trying something new, confidence can be like a fearless child, and caring can begin with something as simple as showing up. ❤️
