On the auspicious first day of the sacred Purushottama Month, our Govinda children joyfully took part in a colourful Jagannath activity, meditating on the beautiful forms of Lord Jagannath.🌸🎨

Did you know? The holy abode of Lord Jagannath, Jagannath Puri is also glorified as Purushottama Kṣetra — the sacred land of Lord Purushottama. May this special month bring devotion, joy and the blessings of Lord Jagannath to all 🙏✨

Hare Krsna. Today our Gokulananda children learnt the basics of ācamana and had the opportunity to practise it practically together with enthusiasm!💦

We also discussed cleanliness, both internal and external, through group activities. Through discussions and teamwork, the children understood how cleanliness is not only about our surroundings, but also about keeping our hearts and minds pure in Krishna consciousness 😊

A JOYFUL RETURN TO GOKUL GARDEN SJMKL✨

A beautiful restart for Gokul Garden of SJMKL. Our classes resumed wonderfully with 35 children joining us with bright smiles and eager hearts. It was so special to see them reconnect after the break and immerse themselves in the divine and inspiring pastimes of Lord Narasimha Deva.

The children participated according to their age groups: Gopal (3-5 years old), Govinda (6-8 years old) and Gokulananda (9-12 years old). Each class learnt in a way suited to their age, with stories, reflections and devotional engagement centred on Lord Narasimha Deva.

Our Gokulananda children went deeper into the appearance pastime of Lord Narasimha Deva at Sridham Mayapur and also learnt the Narasimha mantra with devotion.

As for our Govinda and Gopal class children, they got to immerse themselves in the beautiful form of the Lord with some fun crafts.

A truly joyful and blessed beginning. It was a beautiful reminder that Krishna conscious association brings out the natural joy, innocence and devotion in every child. Haribol. 🙏✨

Throwback to our historic deity installation of Sri Sri Radha Gokulachandra!😍

Some of our children got the opportunity to welcome the Lord and show various auspicious items like Srimad Bhagavatam, a cow and Tulasi Devi to Their Lordships as the first items They see after the eye-opening ceremony.

A truly blessed day and we pray to Sri Sri Radha Gokulachandra to shower Their divine mercy upon all of you! ❤️✨

Adorable Kurma avatar craft by our Govinda and Gopal class! 🐢🌊

"O Lord Hari, who have assumed the form of a tortoise! All glories to You! In this incarnation as a divine tortoise the great Mandara Mountain rests upon Your gigantic back as a pivot for churning the ocean of milk. From holding up the huge mountain a large scar like depression is put in Your back, which has become most glorious."

Happy Vaikuntha Ekadasi! 😍

On our last class of the year, the children of our Gokulananda class participated in a Bhagavad Gītā śloka recital✨

With confidence and devotion, they recited all the ślokas they had memorised throughout the year, and what touched us even more was the enthusiasm with which some children joyfully shared additional ślokas they had learnt on their own! Their eagerness, sincerity, and love for learning shone brightly 🌼

May these young voices, echoing the words of the Gītā, invite divine blessings into their lives and guide them always on the path of wisdom and devotion 🙏💛

Damodara Lila Kirtan Drama 2025 21/10/2025

This year’s Damodara Lila came alive in the most joyful way — through drama and kirtan! 🎭🎶

Inspired by HG Acyuta Gopi's Lila Kirtan style, our young ones beautifully retold the sweet pastime of Mother Yashoda trying to bind little Krishna — with hearts full of love, laughter, and devotion. 💛

What made it extra special? The whole audience joined in! Hands clapping, voices rising, everyone singing the holy names together — it was pure bliss! 🙌

Sri Sri Yashoda Damodar ki jai!

Damodara Lila Kirtan Drama 2025 Relish the supremely sweet pastime of Damodara Lila brought to life by our Gokul Garden children! Happy Damodara Deepavali
