Today I received my KWSP dividend for 2025.
RM56,697.41 credited. Dividend rate: 6.15%.

Let me say this in simple words.
This is not “extra money”.
This is money that works for you quietly.

Most of us work 8–12 hours a day.
But if you don’t force yourself to save, one day you will still need to work at 60.

KWSP is not sexy.
You don’t see it.
You cannot show it.
You cannot flex it.

But one day, it will protect you.
Why this matters for retirement
When we are young:
We think business will always be good.
We think salary will always increase.
We think we are strong forever.

Reality:
Business can drop.
Health can change.
Energy will reduce.

At 55 or 60, you don’t want to:
❌ Depend on children
❌ Depend on luck
❌ Start from zero again

You want options.
KWSP gives you:
✔️ Annual dividend (compounding)
✔️ Capital protection
✔️ Emergency buffer
✔️ Retirement income

It is boring.
But boring builds security.
Especially important for self-employed people
