CORONA VIRUS GUIDANCE
NIS ASKS ALL STAFF AND STUDENTS WHO HAVE TRAVELLED IN CHINA TO MAKE THEMSELVES KNOWN TO MS.WONG IMMEDIATELY ON [email protected]
Families should also take the following precautions:
1. Check your child's temperature regularly. If it is high, or if they are coughing, do not send them to school.
2. Wear face masks whenever in public, and dispose of them carefully after use. Send your child to school with a mask.
3. Provide children with handkerchiefs, and show them how to use them to block coughs and sneezes.
4. Send children to school with their own pocket-size bottles of hand sanitiser, and teach them to use it after coughs or sneezes.
In school, we will also teach these skills, and emphasise regular hand-washing.
Door handles, sink taps and all cafeteria utensils will be subject to extra washing and disinfection by our cleaning staff.
Teachers will monitor children closely including taking their temperature, and send them home if there are any concerns, and staff will also wear masks and stay at home if unwell.
