🌍 From the classroom to the world stage — and back to the next generation.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of visiting schools and meeting thousands of young people, sharing stories from my journey through Flying with Dreams.

Every school visit reminds me of something simple: a child’s dream may begin in a classroom, but there is no limit to where it can take them.

This week in Geneva, I had the opportunity to contribute to conversations at the United Nations, exploring the future of technology, AI, sustainable development and the role of the Global South.
Standing in that room, I found myself thinking about the young people I meet in schools.

The technologies we discuss today will become the tools they use tomorrow. The decisions being made today will shape the world they inherit.
That is why education matters so deeply.
We should not only teach young people what the world is.

We should encourage them to ask:
“What can the world become — and what role can I play in shaping it?”

My message to every student I meet remains the same:
Dream boldly. Learn continuously. Have the courage to begin.

Because sometimes, the greatest journey begins with a dream that others cannot yet see. ✈️

We recently had the privilege of surprising Captain James Anthony Tan on his birthday during an event hosted by Pertubuhan Guru Perpustakaan dan Media Malaysia, attended by over 1,000 students from across East and Peninsular Malaysia.

What touched us most was learning that some students had travelled from remote parts of Sabah by sampan, road, and air, simply for the opportunity to be there. It was a powerful reminder that education, mentorship, and inspiration can reach far beyond geographical boundaries.

Watching Captain James interact with the students reaffirmed something many already know: His greatest mission has always been empowering young people to dream bigger, aim higher, and believe in what is possible.

Moments like these are more than celebrations. They are catalysts that inspire confidence, ignite ambition, and remind young people that their dreams are worth pursuing. We are grateful to have shared in this meaningful milestone and remain committed to creating opportunities that empower students to discover their potential and contribute positively to society.

A special thank you to KADOKAWA GEMPAK STARZ for helping make this memorable occasion possible.

Because when a young mind is inspired, the impact extends far beyond a single moment, it shapes futures, strengthens communities, and influences generations to come.
