On 6 May 2026, AMTEC was honoured to receive a courtesy visit from representatives of the University of Bristol, namely Dr Neha Chandarana and Dr Natasha. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Prof. Ts. Dr. Juhana Jaafar, Prof. Ts. Dr. Mohd Hafiz Dzarfan Othman, Ir. Dr. Farhana Aziz, Ts. Dr. Ng Be Cheer, and Tc. Mohd Arif Azali.

The visit provided a valuable platform for meaningful discussions and knowledge exchange between both institutions. Several important areas of collaboration were explored, including potential joint research initiatives, postgraduate co-supervision opportunities, collaborative grant applications, and the development of a long-term strategic partnership between AMTEC and the University of Bristol.

This engagement marks a positive step towards strengthening international academic and research networks, while fostering future collaborations that will contribute to research excellence, innovation, and postgraduate development for both institutions.

We were honoured to welcome Professor Dr Hom Bahadur Rijal, Dean of the Graduate School of Environmental and Information Studies, Tokyo City University, to the Advanced Membrane Technology Research Centre (AMTEC), UTM.
