From exploring the Marine Technology Centre (MTC) to participating in the exciting Floating Wind Turbine Platform Challenge, it was a day packed with teamwork, creativity, and fun! The Three-Minute Maritime Pitch allowed us to showcase our ideas, and the day wrapped up with a special closing ceremony by Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Haris Ahmad Bin Israr Ahmad, Head of the Department of Aeronautics, Automotive & Ocean Engineering.

Empowering First-Year NAOE Students: A Day of Inspiration

We were thrilled to have Ms. Syaza Nabihah binti Mohd Nasir from OneSubsea Malaysia as a guest speaker for the First Year Students’ Engagement Program 2025. Her talk on “From UTM to the NAOE Industry: My Learning Adventure” was both insightful and motivational, offering valuable advice to our Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering (NAOE) students as they begin their academic journey.

The event kicked off with an introduction to the NAOE Program by Dr. Farah Ellyza Hashim, followed by the inspiring session from Ms. Syaza. Students had the opportunity to engage in an interactive game slot, followed by a souvenir presentation and a memorable photo session.

Thank you to everyone who participated and made the event a success! Looking forward to seeing our students grow and thrive in the NAOE program.
