What looks like a simple grocery trip can be a lesson in life. 🛒🌱
Every two weeks, our Young Adult Program students take turns stepping into the community to practise real-life skills — planning, money management, decision-making, communication, social interaction and responsibility.
But there is something even more meaningful happening.
Our students learn with and from one another.
A mentor. A mentee.
Learning together. Growing together.
And sometimes, the young person who once needed support becomes the young person who supports someone else.
Because at AvidAscent, we don’t only ask,
“What can this student do today?”
We ask,
“Who can this young person become tomorrow?”
We believe preparation for adulthood should happen in real environments, with real responsibilities and meaningful opportunities.
Learning beyond the classroom.
Preparing for life.
Building a future. 🌱
