April is Autism Awareness & Acceptance Month 💙

This year, we proudly celebrated at AvidAscent Enrichment Centre with a meaningful and creative activity — our Puzzle Heart 🧩❤️

Each piece of the puzzle represents the uniqueness of every individual on the autism spectrum. When we come together with understanding, patience, and love, we create something truly beautiful and complete.

Our students showed incredible creativity, teamwork, and joy while building this symbol of acceptance. Moments like these remind us that every child has their own strengths, voice, and way of shining.

J8 Autism Athletic – weekly sports and fitness for special needs.

Thank you Joel, Kugen & team for your patience, consistency, and dedication in guiding and teaching them. Your effort truly makes a difference.

This program is part of our non-academic activities designed to support teenagers and young adults in building essential life skills through movement, teamwork, and structured sports training.

It is our responsibility to understand their needs and create meaningful opportunities for them to grow, learn, and thrive in their own unique ways.
Every session is more than just exercise – it’s about confidence, independence, discipline, and learning to work together as a team.

Sensory Crayon Ice Chalk Activity ❄️🖍️

Our students enjoyed a fun and meaningful hands-on learning experience using frozen crayon ice chalk. Through this activity, they explored colours, textures, and creative expression in a sensory-rich environment.

✨ Skills developed:
• Sensory exploration (cold, texture, melting effects)
• Fine motor skills (grip, control, hand-eye coordination)
• Cognitive learning (cause & effect, colour recognition)
• Communication & social interaction
• Creativity and self-expression

Learning through play helps our students grow with confidence, curiosity, and joy 💙
