What an unforgettable night! 🌙✨

Our journey began at 10 pm, when 142 nursing students and Dr.Nooreena Yusop as chef-de-mission from the Faculty of Nursing, UCMI, boarded the bus, filled with excitement (and a bit of nervous energy!) to serve as volunteers at the Standard Chartered KL Marathon 2025.

By the time we reached the event venue, Kuala Lumpur was still asleep — but the spirit of teamwork and dedication kept us wide awake. From managing hydration stations, assisting runners, offering first aid, to cheering every finisher, our students showed what nursing beyond the hospital walls truly means. ❤️‍🔥

After hours of hard work, laughter, and countless selfies, we completed our duty at 9 am — exhausted but incredibly fulfilled. 🏃‍♀️💪

This experience taught us not only about teamwork and resilience, but also the beauty of serving the community with heart and compassion.

Thank you Standard Chartered KL Marathon 2025 for the opportunity — and to all our amazing UCMI Nursing Volunteers, you made us proud! 🌟

Fakulti Kejururawatan, dengan sokongan padu daripada Koordinator Khas Perhubungan Awam UCMI, Puan Norizun Mohd Noor, telah berjaya menganjurkan Program Tajaan & Kerjaya Kejururawatan UCMI 2025 yang bertujuan memperkukuh jaringan kerjasama antara UCMI dan sektor perkhidmatan kesihatan, serta membuka peluang kerjaya kepada pelajar kejururawatan.

Majlis yang dirasmikan oleh Prof. Dr. Azizi Ayob, Pengarah Bahagian Tadbir Urus Korporat & Jaminan Kualiti, disertai oleh 184 pelajar dari Semester 1 hingga Semester 6 telah berpeluang menghadiri program ini disamping berinteraksi secara langsung dan menyertai sesi temuduga dengan wakil industri kesihatan

Sebanyak 9 buah hospital telah mengambil bahagian dalam program ini, iaitu:
1. Hospital PICASO
2. Avisena Sdn Bhd
3. Bukit Tinggi Medical Centre
4. Institut Jantung Negara (IJN)
5. Damansara 2 Specialist Hospital
6. Aurelius Hospital
7. Oxley Management Singapore
8. Park City Medical Centre
9. Hospital An Nur

Para hospital telah menawarkan 75 peluang tajaan pendidikan dan 150 pra-penempatan pekerjaan (pre-employment jobs). Manakala 22 orang pelajar tahun akhir telah berjaya mendapat tawaran pekerjaan serta-merta (immediate employment job) dan diberikan surat tawaran bersyarat oleh Damansara 2 Specialist Hospital.

Ini menunjukkan tahap keyakinan industri terhadap kompetensi pelajar kejururawatan UCMI.
