That was the energy throughout the Quilling Workshop and Interactive Mandarin Learning session by Shen Jai Confucius Institute for our Sekolah Sri Tenby secondary students.

From transforming simple paper strips into creative art to exploring Mandarin through interactive activities, students experienced hands-on learning filled with curiosity, collaboration and excitement.

Along the way, students strengthened their creativity, communication and teamwork skills while building confidence through every activity, conversation and creation.

From her first steps in Toddler to a confident, happy learner today.

My daughter has been part of the Tenby family since she started in the Toddler class, and it has been incredible to watch her grow within this nurturing environment. Transitioning into Nursery felt like a natural next step, and I’ve seen her confidence skyrocket. I have noticed a significant leap in her language skills and independence, and she always comes home excited to share what she’s learned in her trilingual lessons.

The teachers are dedicated and approachable, always providing the right amount of challenge to keep her motivated. Beyond the classroom, I truly appreciate how the school keeps me closely involved through various school events and engagement sessions.

It is reassuring to see that the school values my feedback and actively involves parents in the learning journey. Having witnessed her remarkable progress already, I am excited to see her continue to flourish and reach even greater milestones as she grows within the Tenby community.

How do students grow when learning meets the real world?

Year 5 students took on an exciting jungle trek at Teluk Batik, Bukit, turning outdoor learning into a real-world experience. They navigated uneven trails, crossed natural obstacles, and worked together to keep moving forward through the rainforest.

Each step challenged them to think, adapt, and support one another. Along the way, they built resilience, strengthened teamwork, and developed strong problem-solving skills in an authentic outdoor setting.

More than just an adventure, the jungle trek gave students the opportunity to experience nature first-hand and understand the importance of environmental awareness and caring for the natural world.

For Warunya, Tenby was more than a school – it was where her journey began.
