E Semai :: Tourism Ulu Geroh Home to the Semai people, one of the 18 indigenous people known collectively as Orang Asli (or Original People), Ulu Geroh is currently the base for a community-based ecotourism project highlighting the conservation of the Rafflesia flower and the Rajah Brooke Birdwing butterfly.

E-Semai is a project that Inisiatif Perak involved with Malaysian Nature Network to create economic opportunities for the local indigenous people (Orang Asli). A website has been developed for them to promote their surrounding natural resources and eco-tourism activities. Through this project, they are able to generate income on their own and the economic standing of this indigenous community could be enhanced significantly. However, in the process of improvising, they still need financial support to maintain the website and conducting the training sessions. Your contributions towards helping them are highly appreciated.
