The IEEE UTP Student Branch in collaboration with UTP EE Department have successfully organised a workshop on the use of LaTeX for academic writing on 23rd May 2024.

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to our amazing facilitator, Mr. Alawi Alqushaibi (PhD CIS UTP), for his exceptional effort in conducting the workshop. His expertise and dedication greatly contributed to the success of the event.

A huge thank you to the UTP EE Department, PG Leader EE Department UTP, Dr. Ramani Kannan for gracing the workshop with words of advice and the Chair IEEE UTP SB Muhammad Sani Yahya and all committee members for their immeasurable support.

We are excited to share that one of our students, Mr. Muhammad Sani Yahya, Chair of the IEEE UTP Student Branch, has received the Student Volunteer Award from IEEE Malaysia AP/MTT/EMC Joint Chapter. This noteworthy achievement underscores his active participation and outstanding contributions to the IEEE Student Branch. 🏆

The IEEE Malaysia Section Student Leadership Camp 2023, hosted by the IEEE UM SB took place today 21st October 2023 at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaya.

IEEE UTP Branch recently organized an engaging and insightful physical session on "Blockchain: Recent Trends and Research Opportunities." 🎓 The event brought together passionate minds from both postgraduate and undergraduate programs, all eager to explore the fascinating world of blockchain technology.

🎙️ The session was graced by an esteemed speaker, Dr. Sonali Patil Professor, and Head of PCCoE, Pune, Senior IEEE Member. Her expertise illuminated the latest trends and provided valuable insights into the research prospects in the blockchain domain.
