Is your baby having eczema?
💡 Eczema is a dry, itchy skin condition that affects up to one in five children, so it’s very common.
👶🏻 It can start present itself in an infant as early as 4 weeks old.
👶🏻 It may start on the cheeks, elbow and back of the knee of the body and will look like red, dry, scaly patches.
👶🏻 It will be itchy and make your baby fussy and uncomfortable.
❓ How is eczema treated in babies❓
✅ Warm bath with moisturizer
-A daily warm bath for no more than 5 or 10 minutes is usually beneficial.
✅ Use an ointment
- Choose the most natural formula available, as fragrances and preservatives can be irritating for babies with eczema.
✅ Identify your baby’s triggers
- Avoid itchy fabrics and hash soaps.
