You keep holding onto the version of yourself you’re desperate to become...
You tell yourself:
“When I lose the weight, I’ll feel confident again”
But every time you try, you end up stuck in the same cycle...
Being “good” all week
Starting over every Monday
Feeling guilty for enjoying food
And thinking you just need 'more motivation'
Sound familiar..?
The issue usually isn’t about effort.
It’s the all-or-nothing mindset that's the problem.
Most women don’t fail because they’re lazy, they fail because they’re trying to follow plans that don’t fit in real life.
Real transformation comes when you stop chasing perfection and start building on habits you can actually sustain for the long term.
That’s when your body changes
But more importantly… so does your mindset 🫶🏻

That your body changing will not suddenly make you happy..
Confident? Maybe
Proud? Absolutely
But losing weight will not fix low self-worth, poor boundaries, burnout, or constantly putting yourself last.
And I think a lot of women are secretly chasing a body they believe will finally make them feel “enough”..
I know that because I used to do it too.
The leanest version of me was not the happiest version of me.
Some of the women I coach who have transformed physically… still have to work on the mental side too.
Because confidence is not built purely from aesthetics
It’s built from..
🔸️Keeping promises to yourself
🔸️Getting stronger
🔸️Looking after your health
🔸️Learning balance
🔸️And proving to yourself that you’re capable
Fitness should improve your life, not become the thing that controls it 🧡

What I am eating in a typical day whilst travelling around Asia 👆🏼
Food shouldn't make you feel guilty. It should be used to fuel you, to build strength, muscle, and sustain energy 🙌🏼
Should we indulge in snacks and pancakes every day all day? Of course not.. we should enjoy foods that are not so healthy some of the time, because we are human and we should experience everything! Especially the delicious stuff 🫡
Creating more freedom around food and feelings towards it is what I practice with my clients to enable them to always feel their best whilst enjoying life, whether travelling or simply experimenting with new recipes.
We build strong bodies with a mindset to match 💪🏼

I was constantly under-eating, over-training, exhausted, and wondering why my body wasn’t changing or performing well.
And this is what so many women over 35 are doing now.. eating less and less while expecting more from their body.
As soon as I began fuelling for my body's needs, I actually started getting much better results...
🔸️More energy
🔸️Better moods
🔸️Stronger workouts
🔸️Better recovery
🔸️Less obsession with food
Your body needs fuel, especially if you want to..
✨️Build muscle
✨️Improve your metabolism
✨️Support your hormones
✨️Sustain fat loss
The answer isn't eating less.
It’s finally giving your body what it needs to perform at its absolute best 👌🏼

For women over 35, this is where things often go wrong…
You’ve been told to eat less fat in order to lose more body fat.
So you cut oils, avoid nuts, go “low-fat everything.”
But instead of progress, you get:
😩 More cravings
😩 Low energy
😩 Stalled fat loss
Healthy fats aren’t the enemy, in fact our hormones depend on them a lot!!
When fats are too low, your body feels stressed.
And a stressed body holds on… not lets go.
Especially in perimenopause, this can mean blood sugar swings, increased hunger and higher cortisol 💀
Fat loss isn’t about removing fats, It’s about creating more balance.
Add these back in asap:
🥑 Avocado
🥄Olive oil
🥜 Nuts & seeds
We ain't aiming for more restriction..Smarter nutrition is what we need.
Because cutting fats doesn’t help you lose fat, iIt just makes it harder.

After 40, carbs aren't your enemy, but cutting them too low is 🫠
Most women I speak to are under-eating carbohydrates and wondering why their sleep is off, their mood is unpredictable, their training feels hard and the fat just won't shift like it so easily did in their 20's.
Your hormones run on glucose. Cortisol, thyroid, oestrogen, progesterone.. all of it needs adequate carbohydrate to function properly. Go too low for too long, and your body doesn't just slow down. It pushes back.
This isn't permission to eat everything. It's a reminder that smart carbs, timed well, are one of the most underrated tools you have after 40 🙌🏼
👆🏼 Swipe through and save this one. Trust me, your hormones will thank you.

Most of the women I speak to are not unhealthy, they just tend to be stuck in an approach that simply doesn't work for them.
If you are feeling stuck right now, then this is for you 🙌🏼
This is a 14 week case study for women 35 and upwards who feel stuck in a cycle of food restriction, over eating and who want to build strength and confidence to last a lifetime.. Not just for that nice holiday.
This isn't about cutting out your favourite foods, or spending hours working out. Its about feeling in control, building balance and sustainable habits that actually fit your life right now and for the future.
I will be closing the entry for this on Thursday 7th May 2026!
