Are you ready for International Olympic Week!? Prepare to get involved in a week filled with fun activities, entertaining lessons and many spectacular challenges too! Read below for more details on the activities! ✨

▶️ Trick Shot Talent Show ◀️
Starting at 8AM on Monday (5th July) is our Trick Shot Talent Show! You will have all the way until the end of Friday (9th July) to send in a 20-second video of you doing a trickshot to the flipgird in your P.E Teams Channel!

➡️ Dress up ⬅️
How would you like to dress up as your favourite sports star!? All you have to do is snap a picture of yourself dressed up as your favourite sportsperson and submit it via the QR code that will be shared to you on the Dress Up poster. All participants get 1 house point and winners get even more! Get involved and win some house points for your house before the end of term!!

▶️ Afternoon activities ◀️
During this entire week, you'll have the chance to get far away from your computers and do some super fun activities!! After lunch every day you will receive a Sway post on your Main Teams Channel on which 3 activities you can do for that afternoon. Since your last lessons of the day will be collapsed the whole week, you will have that lesson period to film and send us your results from the activities. If you'd like to challenge your teacher for extra house points, you must attach a video of you doing the activity!

❗️Malaysia is calling for help!❗️

All over malaysia, NGO's (non governmental organizations) are suffering due to the pandemic. These organisations have been unable to carry out the usual programs to sustain them financially by experiencing a setback in donations and volunteers. They're now having to allocate additional funds for sanitation items, food stock for the duration of the MCO, delivery, and transportation, as well as hospital fees and visits. This is something that desperately needs awareness. We urge you to tell your family and friends to donate and share! Your funds will go to NGOs who continue to serve our most vulnerable communities such as the homeless, elderly, orphans, disabled persons, and refugees.

Are you keen on learning more about various cultures across the world, and embrace the uniqueness that this diversed community has to offer? Well, TPSLC Events and Community are proud to announce the Tenby Multicultural Festival! Throughout this week-long festival, embark on an eye-opening journey with us and learn about the traditions, origins and countless fun facts of cultures such as Loy Krathong, the Mooncake Festival and more!

Furthermore, to learn even more about all different cultures from all of you, we're excited to announce that we'll be hosting the following three special activities, which are focused on your cultural delicacies, cultural performances and cultural attire! These are open to all students, teachers and parents of Tenby Schools Penang, therefore you can participate in one or all of these activities, your entries are limitless! All you need to do is share photos or videos for the aforementioned activities above, for us to embrace the distinctness of these elements of your cultures! To learn more about what you need to do and how to enter, simply scan the QR code in the poster above to access the submission forms, where the details of the activities have been further elaborated on.

At TPSLC, one of our main goals is to represent the students' voice. "Voices for Change" is a new platform, prepared by the Key Leadership Team, for students to send in their positive and constructive feedback, ideas and suggestions to improve the school.

The form is open every two weeks once on Fridays and is available on your Teams channel. When filling in responses, you must comply with the Terms and Conditions set to ensure your feedback are efficient in bringing change.

Round 1 begins on the 7th till 18th of June while Round 2 begins on the 28th June till 12th July. Each school is given their respective themes. But you can create your art digitally or on paper, using ANY media! So, get CREATIVE with the themes!

Exciting prizes such as framed artworks, social media shoutout, certificates and Grab vouchers can be won!
