Eden, one of our Roblox Game Development students, recently showcased a game he created on Roblox! In the game, players must complete different obstacle challenges, also known as an “obby” (obstacle course), by jumping across stages, avoiding traps, and making it to the finish line.

But what makes this exciting is that Eden is not just spending time playing his favorite game anymore, he’s learning how to become a developer behind it. Amazing work, Eden!

Through the Roblox Game Development program, students learn about game design, user interface (UI), and coding using the Lua programming language to create their own interactive worlds and experiences.

And sometimes, the best way for children to learn is through something they already genuinely enjoy 🤍

Ashton, one of our Robotics Coder students, created an alarm system that can be placed outside a house to warn us if a monster or threat is coming 👀🚨

Using a color sensor, Ashton programmed his project to detect the “monster” and immediately give a warning so people can protect themselves. Such a fun, creative, and thoughtful idea from him 🤖✨

Wesley wanted to build something helpful for himself and the people around him. Using MIT App Inventor, he created his own step counter app 👣

In the process, he applied what he learned in class — using concepts like conditions, loops, and functions, together with the step sensor — to make the app actually work.

What matters is not just the app itself, but how he connected his learning to something real and useful.
