The 8th International Conference on Chemical Engineering and Industrial Biotechnology (ICCEIB 2026) was successfully held on 8โ9 July 2026 at Ramada Hotel by Wyndham Meridin in a hybrid mode, providing an inclusive platform for both physical and online participants to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and strengthen collaborations in the fields of chemical engineering and industrial biotechnology.
The memorable event was officiated by Professor ChM Dr. Mohd Hasbi bin Ab Rahim, Assistant Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research & Innovation) and co-organized by the Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) together with Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (Indonesia), King Mongkutโs University of Technology North Bangkok (Thailand), and Universitas Indonesia (Indonesia). The conference served as a significant platform for researchers, academics, and industry practitioners to present their latest findings, exchange insights, and explore potential collaborations.
The conference successfully brought together around 150 participants from India, Indonesia, Iraq, Nigeria, the Philippines, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, as well as representatives from various universities, industries, and government agencies across Malaysia. The hybrid format enabled wider participation and enhanced global engagement among the research and industrial communities.
