Dr. Zulfadzli Yusoff, Vice President of Student Experience and Entrepreneurship Development, and other MMU officers.

[MMU and ARP Foundation Join Hands to Nurture Young Entrepreneurs at KEYS 2026]

MMU and Indonesia-based Yayasan Ahmad Riyansyah Parinduri (ARP Foundation) joined hands for the KL Entrepreneur Youth Summit (KEYS) 2026, held at the MMU Cinema on 19 August 2026. The one-day summit marked the inaugural collaboration between MMU and ARP Foundation and brought together students, young entrepreneurs and academic representatives from Malaysia and Indonesia under the theme “From Side Hustle to Empire: Turn Your Hobby into Business.”

[New MMU Students Begin Their Journey with a Week of Immersion and Networking]

Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, MMU President welcomed the newest cohort of students as they began their MMU journey, following their registration on 8 August 2026 at the Cyberjaya and Melaka campuses. The new students then embarked on a week-long Immersion and Networking (WIN) programme designed to help them settle into campus life, get to know their new surroundings and connect with the wider MMU community.

[MMU Secures Overall 1st Runner-Up at MASISWA Networking Games 2026]

MMU achieved its best-ever result at the MASISWA Networking Games (for Staff) 2026, emerging as the Overall 1st Runner-Up at the event held in Kedah from 7 to 9 August 2026. MMU’s athletes delivered a strong performance across the competition, securing five gold medals in netball, bowling (trio), pétanque (women’s doubles), ping pong (women’s doubles) and bowling (women’s doubles), as well as two bronze medals in badminton (mixed doubles) and volleyball (women’s).

[MMU Hosts National Innovation Showcase at Hari Inovasi Kebangsaan @ Melaka 2026]

MMU hosted Hari Inovasi Kebangsaan @ Melaka 2026 (HIK@M2026), a national-level innovation showcase featuring 200 selected projects from 370 submissions received nationwide. The programme was officially launched by YB Datuk Fairul Nizam Roslan, Melaka State Executive Councillor (Exco) for Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Communication, representing YAB Datuk Seri Utama Ab Rauf bin Yusoh, Chief Minister of Melaka, at MMU Melaka Campus on 6 August 2026, who also presented the prizes to the winners for different categories.

[FOB Student Secures Silver Medal at Perak International TaeKwon-Do Championship 2026]

Let us congratulate Andrew Tang Jia Hong, a student from the Faculty of Business (FOB), for winning the Silver Medal at the Perak International TaeKwon-Do Championship 2026 (PITC2026), held at the Institut Latihan Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia Sultan Azlan Shah (ILKKM SAS), Tanjung Rambutan, Perak in July 2026. The championship, organised by the Persatuan Taekwon-Do Negeri Perak (MTF), brought together taekwondo athletes from Malaysia and abroad.

[FOM Team Wins Second Runner up at RIFAR 2026]

Team OT3, consisting of Amiera Sofea binti Shuhizamir, Amy Nursafia binti Mohd Rosdi, and Syed Muzzakkir bin Syed Shairul Azuar from the Faculty of Management (FOM), was announced as the second runner-up in the Sprint category at the River Flooding Adaptation & Resilience (RIFAR) Challenge 2026. The team walked away with a cash prize of RM1,000 during the prize-giving ceremony held at the Securities Commission’s RIFAR Showcase on 30 July 2026.
