Freya likes to ‘Pretend and Play’ a lot. Sometimes she becomes a doctor,Nurse,Teacher,Mumma and so on..Yesterday she wanted to become a shopkeeper so her dad set up a shop for her and then Freya was a shopkeeper and her dad was a customer. They played for 30mins and she enjoyed it a lot.
Researchers believe that pretend and play helps in the development of cognitive and social abilities .
Benefits of pretend and Play:
👉It helps them to improve their problem solving skills.
👉It prepares them for real life situations .
👉It helps them to understand the real world around them.
👉It helps in enhancing the language development.
👉It helps in boosting planning and organizational skills.

Most new moms experience postpartum "baby blues" after childbirth, which commonly include mood swings, crying spells, anxiety and difficulty sleeping. Baby blues typically begin within the first two to three days after delivery, and may last for up to two weeks.
But some new moms experience a more severe, long-lasting form of depression known as postpartum depression. Rarely, an extreme mood disorder called postpartum psychosis also may develop after childbirth.
Postpartum depression isn't a character flaw or a weakness. Sometimes it's simply a complication of giving birth. If you have postpartum depression, prompt treatment can help you manage your symptoms and help you bond with your baby.
So this month,let's all support and raise voice to make women aware that 'their feelings aaye valid '
' they matter'
'PPD is not a myth'.
