Teens4CAP program was developed out of the need for enhancing teens and young adults’ resilience towards extreme climate change. This non-formal education program is offered to teens regardless of their backgrounds or legal status. Teens4CAP first education program on eco-edible urban gardening was birthed in the midst of COVID 19 lockdown. The program came about after The Blue Ribbon Global conceptualized Education for Climate Action for Peace (E4CAP) workshop in December 2020. Both, E4CAP and Teens4CAP teaching-learning content are based on The Blue Ribbon’s peace education principles – Peace with own self (Person), Peace with others (People), and Peace with the environment (Planet) or Peace3Ps. They also support Permaculture Ethics – Care for People, Care for the Environment and Share Surplus, and apply its principles in system design and implementation.

🌍 World Soil Day 2025 Celebration! 🌱
Another meaningful reminder of why healthy soil matters for all of us!

This year, TBR is taking a short break from hosting the National Soil Painting Competition and the larger World Soil Day event. Instead, we’re excited to focus on a more intimate and impactful experience — an overnight nature camp for Grade 7 students from ElShaddai Refugee Learning Centre at Garden Spring Cheras.

✨ Teens4CAP: Discovering Soil Through Arts and Permaculture is a two-day experiential camp where young people explore the living world beneath their feet. Through hands-on learning, creative activities, and guided discovery, participants deepen their understanding of soil health, sustainable living, and the vital connection between people and the planet.

🎨 Public Soil Painting Session
We warmly welcome the public to join our soil painting activity at the garden:
🗓 8 December 2025 (Monday)
⏰ 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Come and be part of this meaningful celebration. We look forward to a wonderful time with the teenagers and our community! 🌿✨

🌿 Team Salsa from Accenture brought their energy, passion, and teamwork to Garden Spring, lending a helping hand to make our space more inclusive! With shovels in hand and smiles on their faces, they worked together to build a wheelchair-friendly pathway, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the beauty of the garden—no matter their mobility.

👏 Thank you, Team Salsa, for turning kindness into action and making a lasting impact!

🌱 Kicking off the year with an incredible volunteering session!

We had the pleasure of hosting a fantastic group of up to 40 volunteers from the Accenture Team (G.R.O.W CSR Team) at Garden Spring Cheras on 11 January 2025.

From 9 AM to 12 PM, this energetic team worked together to make a positive impact, and their dedication truly shone through!

Thank you for your time, energy, and commitment to nurturing our community and green spaces. 🌿

Here's to more meaningful collaborations in 2025!
